Rude Awakening
Taye's POV:
School sucks it's like adults only created this to have teenagers die of boredom to be honest the only thing I like about this school is study hall that's where you could do whatever you want and teacher wouldn't give a single care about what and why you're doing something. And the only time I get to see Kevin ( my boyfriend of 2 years) me and him started dating in 8th grade now i'm in 10th grade he is a jock ( not the rude mean one you see on tv the type that's like mysterious, yet sweet, I know I know it's sounds like i'm so in love then yeah he has my heart...
"Miss Jackson can you give me the answer to this equation ?" asked miss Georgia she's so annoying " um.. i'm sorry ma'am but aren't you a teacher shouldn't you know the answer?" after I said that the whole classroom started laughing and Celia my best friend since kindergarten my partner in crime turned to me and gave me a high five. " You know what Miss Jackson you have another detention and you know what that means" just as she said these words I took a loud gulp and said " I meant to say do it look like I care " .
Then the class got really quiet because they knew what 18 detentions lead up to a parent phone call , community service, suspension or depending on that your action was expelled. At that moment I knew I messed up so I just grabbed my stuff and went up to her to get my detention note as I was walking everyone yelled FREE TAYE!!! FREE TAYE!!! but I just looked at them and was like " It was nice knowing you all " as if it was my last words ( which it was totally was if my dad found out I was going to be dead seriously dead but I knew he was).
When I finally reached the principles office it was as if my stomach flipped and turned I felt so sick but hey I got myself into this mess I made my bed now I have to lay in it it was like the principle had X-ray vison he called out " Miss Jackson glad to see you again another detention? " I walked into his office and bam look who I saw my dad already in there that two timing snake Miss Georgia she must've knew I was going to act up before I even came to her class.
