"You're alluring right now."
Moon uttered as her gaze fell on Aster, no longer embracing eachother—Moon couldn't help but trace her eyes over Aster's features, looking into her hazel eyes had an unsaid effect on her. She couldn't bring her arms off Aster, no, not when they were in such a close proximity—not when Aster still held onto her shoulders, not when Aster's fragrance was all she could smell—when her gaze felt so welcoming and loving. "It might be your eyes, I don't know but I just don't want to let you go." Moon added.
For all she knew, this situation or problem it might seem didn't bother her—she would have rather opted on staying as they were all day, tomorrow inclusive, maybe even for as long as time and Aster would let it be—let it just be. This, whatever it was, a problem or something, didn't need a solution because she craved for specifically this for the longest time—had she had these emotions haywire before? Yes, sure but they slipped through the cracks and left her—left her lost—Moon knew how at the tip of her fingers she had it, how much she had to reach out and have it as her own.
Today had to be the start, she hoped it would be—start today, continue it tomorrow and build as it goes.
Moon had more than a crush, these feelings she didn't want going away, she wanted to build on it with Aster—something more.
"Okay, I have something to say."
Moon pulled away from Aster, taking a few steps back she created some space—enough space to see all of Aster, enough to see how her hands balled up in fists unsure what to do now that Moon wasn't in reachable distance. Too much space between them that made Aster furrow her eyebrows in confusion, she too had wished they hadn't let eachother go—she enjoyed the touch and proximity, the exact same way Moon felt.
It felt physically sickening? How funny that was to think about, whenever they were in eachother personal space it felt overwhelming but whenever there was a rift they'd get closer as though being apart was unbearable. The unbearable thing would be not touching, not falling down a spiral of stairs into an abyss whenever they locked eyes—whenever they were out of sight.
Out of sight but never out of mind, the others absence made the other's mind notice the absence—yearn for it, miss it—pray and wish for it to return.
"Just a minute." Moon signed. All she needed was a minute to get her words across, to get the thoughts jumbled up for weeks on end in her head across. After that she could hold Aster as long as she was permitted—if the feelings were returned, it would just be them.
The two of them
"Okay, so." Moon wiped her palms again her dark blue dress pants, she was nervous because confessions were first times trys crippling—she could feel her heart, Aster's gaze on her as well and her ability to overthink this had already started to kick in, knocking the barrier down. She had to be brave, be brave and true motto kept her breathing even and confidence in check.
"I don't know how to say it but I'll just say & sign it, might not be great but it's my best for now. I took an interest in sign language because of you, I liked how your eyes lit up the first time I googled it on the spot—it could be fun, I guessed and then I fell for something other than sign language. Each time I got it right or each time we communicated you smiled and it made my heart skip, your eyes light up so much it gave me the motivation to go on getting better. I don't want to be average when it comes to you, I want you to understand me as I learn to understand you if you let me do that—let me watch you, be around you whenever it's you I'm around—"
Moon gasped as Aster fell in her arms again, her arms went around Aster holding her close. Moon hadn't realised she was in tears until Aster's thumb gently caressed her skin wiping the tears away, Moon was keen in remembering each sign and executing them with the correct movements and placement she didn't notice the tears slipping past—she hadn't seen Aster get closer to her with each step as well.
"Let me be your girlfriend." Moon spoke slowly as she placed her hand over Aster's, each time Moon looked into Aster's eyes she felt vulnerable as though Aster looked into her soul—but in truth, Aster's eyes always showed the woman's emotions so well that Moon felt warm & seen. "Let me kiss you, hug you—give me the pleasure of being yours."
There had been something in Aster's eyes that made Moon hold her breath, she could pinpoint it to the lingering tears Aster's eyes glimmered with, how she couldn't read the emotions in her eyes—made her heart drop terribly, it felt like s**t.
"Are you okay?" Moon asked searching her eyes for anything that gave it away, a clue of some sort that would ease her. Aster couldn't sign right now, not that she'd let the woman's arms go or let Aster take a step back to create distance between. "Give me a nod or something woman." her lips broke into a desperate smile, Aster felt like a wildfire burning her whole.
Her mind was about to slip into their overthinking skill and it would be over before it began, she couldn't stop it. Everything would be over analyzed and she'd shut down just like that, believing everything single thing that her mind tricked her to believe.
Moon hadn't shut down completely from overthinking rather the peck on her right cheek, then the one on her left cheek—Aster's lips felt ungodly warm and soft, her breath felt hot against her skin and her touch made her knees buckle.
Aster's lips lingered against her skin, her touch was soft as gentle as snow falling on her face, light but lingering as it melt.
"Was that a yes? Or were you trying to calm me down." Moon asked Aster as she pulled back, a smile formed on Aster's lips as she gave Aster a head nod—a similar smile came over Moon. Wasting no time, Moon pulled Aster into a bone crushing hug.
Elm leaned against the door frame, his eyes squinted at the two. "That's extremely cheesy but sweet it's sickening brethren, look at you—you're even crying!"
Moon ignored him, as did Aster as she closed her eyes clinging onto Moon.

Moon looked around Aster's apartment taking in the single bedroom apartment with light lilac and cream white walls. As soon as she stepped foot into Aster's home, Moon felt a sense of Aster in the interior along with the wall colours, the further she got—to her living room to be exact, the few flower pots around screamed Aster—it was cosy and beautiful.
Just as Aster was to Moon.
The couch dipped besides her that made Moon turn towards Aster, a smile couldn't help but find it's way on Moon's lips as the woman moved closer to Aster. "Is this okay?" Moon signed with eyes on Aster. She looked gorgeous with her hair hanging freely, her apron—that she did find cute—no longer clinging onto her.
Aster always looked gorgeous, she was extremely so upclose and when she happened to be your partner.
"When it's you, everything's okay." Aster signed. A smile grew on her lips as did a shade of pink coat her cheeks, she found it cheesy it made her blush as to how she sounded to Moon—a hopeless romantic, that being the label.
"Girlfriend." Moon signed. The blush on Aster's cheeks deepended immediately, she could feel her heart rush and the blush cover her ears as well—she simply wanted to hide it but to her dismay Moon held onto her wrists stopping her from covering herself, unable to hold her gaze as well Aster strictly stared down to the couch—if Moon was going to let Aster not hide her embarrassment, she wasn't going to look into her eyes—she'd melt.
She already felt too hot and her heart wasn't slowing down any moment now, Moon did this to her—had this effect on her that never just went away, she didn't think it would.
Her situation hasn't gotten any better especially when Aster felt Moon's lips on her cheek, painfully placing a slow peck on it—lingering over her skin for too long before finally freeing her of the immerse emotions and her constraints. Aster hadn't had the time to sigh in relief as Moon lightly held onto her chin, making her stare up to meet her gaze.
She was slowly dying, it felt as though she was—Moon was going to kill her with euphoria.
On Moon's end, Aster's cheeks were tainted a deep shade of pink that made her look so cute she couldn't help herself but chuckle, that made her head fall back as her hand slip off Aster's chin—that chuckled earned an eye squint from the latter, how was her distress amusing.
With a hand held out, Aster waved her right hand in front of Moon as an attempt to grab her attention, which of course did the trick—her gaze was on her read to hear whatever Aster needed.
"I also have something to say." Aster's signed earned her a head nod in approval to continue from Moon. "I like you, a lot. There's this thing about you that makes everything feel ten times more, you make me feel too much at once but I love it—you make my heart beat louder that it's deafening, my thoughts are a mess with & without your presence and you."
Abruptly stopping, Aster stared down at her hands that were being held in place by Moon, stopping her from signing further. As Moon stared into Aster's eyes, she noticed how much emotion and vulnerability the held—looking away might just have hurt, if she did.
"Can I kiss you?"
Aster pulled her hands out of Moon's hold so that she'd sign again, the exact same words she had before. "When it's you, everything's okay." the glimmer in Moon's eyes, just how close tears were from slipping through, made Aster lovely place her hand over her cheeks.
For a minute or so, the two held eye contact right before Moon closed the gap between them. Moon's lips pressed against Aster's rather gently, their kiss had been slow and sensual, each of their fingers clinging onto the other clothing as the kiss deepended—it hadn't been as quick as the pecks on the cheek they had shared prior, those that lingered for a bit before distance was created. No, it wasn't even close neither could it compare to the spiral of emotions that slipped through it.
Moon felt herself, the more she kissed Aster, run out of control with each touch Aster gave her. When her fingers at some point slipped through her hair, gently pulling at her hair as she nibbled her lower lip—the lingering touch of Aster's fingers against her skin, forming circles and lines that left a sense of heat on her, whether be it to cling onto her fabric or exposed skin—her arms, her lower back & neck—just to felt her closer. How Aster had guided Moon's body to lay on top of her as she rested her back against the couch, how her legs had a mind of their own as they wrapped around her waist—so tightly Moon felt Aster's thighs oj her skin.
Just how badly, how much, each touch they shared felt as though the other burnt themselves on their partner's skin from inside out with desire, just how perfect Moon felt resting herself in-between Aster's legs—how soft, warm yet draining the soul out of her the kiss felt, Moon kissed her sensually slow with a gentle softeness but made her forget her own name in the process.
She liked this, they both did—they had been craving just this for weeks and it felt surreal, just like a daydream—a fever dream.
Moon broke apart their kiss with a bit of struggle as neither wanted to let go, their chests rose and fell trying to catch their breath. Moon took notice of Aster's mess of hair and her own mess of a wrinked missing a few buttons shirt—they were a hot mess but they loved it.
Lowering her head down, Moon's lips hovered a few centimetres over Aster's collar bone, her warm breath against her skin made Aster's heart pick up and her skin burn—a kiss or two trailed over her skin made Aster half unconscious. "Every part of you." She mumbled her lips against Aster's neck, sensually placing a kiss on her beauty mark. "Makes me feel like I'm drowning, Aster." from her neck, Aster felt Moon's breath on her ear trailed with kisses with a soft gentle touch caressing her neck.
And she couldn't take it.
Pulling on Moon's shirt rather violently, Aster made Moon face her before pressing their lips on another once more—Moon could trail kiss all over her body, she didn't mind but all she wanted right now was to feel Moon's lips on hers and her body over hers.
Just the two of them.
