LJ’s POV
We snickered, when Erika texted us for the umpteenth time that day, asking what the hell we were planning. We’d gotten ahold of Becky to go pick her up, get her dressed up, and drop her off at our place at 7. Erika didn’t partially like surprises, needing to be in control of everything around her, but we decided that this one time was the acceptable exception!
The door opened and the scent of our brother and his mate wafted into the living room. We turned off the computer and got up to meet our guests.
“LJ!” Lexi exclaimed as if she hadn’t seen us in ages – although it had only been last Sunday! “Hi!”
We didn’t even realize she was heading for us at vampire speed until it was too late. We tried to brace for the impact, but it was too late. She hit us full force and sent us fly
