“I want a divorce, Natalia,” Grey told her, his gaze piercing through her sharply as though he was trying to execute her in his mind.
Natalia stood frozen in place, too shocked to speak a word. Knowing her legs would collapse if she didn't sit down, she slumped onto the long sofa inside her room.
“This marriage was doomed to end in misery from the very start. Let's not make ourselves even more miserable by prolonging our suffering,” he continued. Each word coming from his lips was like a knife stabbing her chest.
