My chest tightened, and I could barely breathe while I imagined what they must have been doing before I arrived at the Bradford Mansion. Crying would do me no good, reason told me. Opening my eyes, I wiped the tears from my cheeks with my dry fingers. I heaved a deep sigh, then straightened my spine again. My thoughts drifted back to Grey.
