Jayda and her parents land at the airport. They were all tired as the flight was long, and Dante did not want to stay over for a night in Germany and wanted to fly back the same day. Jayda is looking forward to seeing her friends and the rest of the family again. But first, they need some rest. Jayda worked hard to pack and clean the whole week and then the long flight back home. Finally, they get into the waiting limo and drive home. Jayda did not tell her parents that she had bought an apartment and wanted to move into her apartment as soon as she could. She does not feel like telling them now as she is tired and can see her mom and dad are exhausted. She will tell them tomorrow after they all have a good rest. Finally, after a couple of days' rest, Jayda got the courage to tell her parents that she had bought an apartment and that it was near the hospital. At first, Dante was reluctant to let his daughter move into her place after just getting home. "Daddy, I stayed by myself for nine years overseas. Nothing happened to me, and the apartment I bought is very safe and highly secure." Jayda says. Dante was happy after seeing her apartment, which was on the top floor of the building. There were only two apartments on the top story, and the security told them that the neighbour was quiet and the old couple that stayed there had never complained about the neighbour. A few days later, Jayda starts moving in. She was carrying a big box, and the elevator was about to close. "Can you please hold the door for me?" Jayda shouts at the man in the elevator. He stops the door from closing and holds the door open for her. She can not see his face from behind the box. "Do you need help with that?" The man asks. "No, I am fine. I am used to carrying heavy stuff." Jayda says with a smile and looks up at the tall man as she puts the box down. Her heart stopped as she looked into the cold eyes of the man. They stare at each other for a few moments. Finally, Jayda looked away, and she did not know what to say for a moment. She presses the button for the top floor. "Long time no see, Jason." Jayda says. "Yeah, you are the one to blame for that. If you stayed in the States, we would still have seen each other." Jason says. "You still blaming me for going away?" Jayda asks. "You could have done just as well in the States as aboard." Jason says, and he feels his heart beat faster as he looks at Jayda. She is even more beautiful than in her photos. "Well, it is my life, and I can choose what to do with it." Jayda says. "It is just my luck to run into him here! I hope he does not stay here." Jayda thinks to herself. "You could have thought about your family and friends and not be so selfish." Jason says. Nevertheless, he is angry as he thinks of her having a boyfriend, and Jason can not help but feel betrayed by Jayda. "f**k, I am jealous! I want to hug her and tell her I am glad she is back and that I missed her, but she has a boyfriend, and I can not even touch her." Jason thinks to himself. The elevator stops at the top floor, and Jason waits for Jayda to get out. She struggles to pick up the big box again, and Jason grabs it and walks out with it. Jayda walks behind him. She could see he was angry at her, making her feel a little sad. She can not show him that, though. Jayda follows him and unlocks the door of her new apartment. She wants to take the box from Jason, but he just pushes her out of the way and carries it in. He puts it down in the middle of the empty apartment and walks out without saying another word. He takes the keys from his pocket and opens his apartment. "So he is staying here, and he is my neighbour! I must have the worst luck in the world." Jayda thinks to herself. Jason looks back, seeing Jayda still looking at him. "Thank you for the help." Jayda says. "No problem. I hope you will be as quiet as my previous neighbours and not disturb me when I work." Jason says. Jayda is angry on the spot. Who does he think he is? He thinks he can talk to her as if she is a child. "I will try my best to keep it down while I have wild s*x with every man in town." Jayda says sarcastically. "I don't think your boyfriend will like that." Jason says. "My boyfriend? I don't have one. Remember to keep it down when Victoria comes to visit. I am a doctor and work long hours." Jayda says and slams her door closed as she walks out to get more boxes. "So she doesn't have a boyfriend? Who is the guy in the photos then?" Jason wonders as he looks at her back as she walks away from him. It makes Jason feel a lot better. "I can help you bring up your other stuff." Jason offers. "I can do it myself, thank you. I do not want to disturb you when you work." Jayda says. "Fine!" Jason says and slams his door close. Jayda gets help from Jayden and Jack, and they are surprised to see where Jayda stays. Does she know Jason is staying there? They say nothing and have fun helping their sister move all her stuff into her new apartment. Later, the furniture arrives, and in no time, Jayda gets everything inside, and Jayden and Jack help her move her stuff around. Jason hears the men's voices in Jayda's apartment as he goes out to his office. So she does not have a boyfriend, but it sounds like she has many. Jayda's door opened, and Jayden and Jack walked out. They see Jason and run up to him. "Hi, bro. Jayda is back, and she moved in across from you. We have a housewarming party tonight for Jayda. Why don't you and Cathy come?" Jayden says. "Sure, it sounds like fun." Jason says. However, he feels better now that he knows it was just her brothers with her. Jason can not understand himself and why he feels like a jealous teenager. He even acts like one, but he will never show it. Jason does not show his feelings as he walks with Jack and Jayden to the elevator. "Dammit, I am thirty-four, and I act like this? Jayda is beautiful, but so is Victoria. Why do I get upset about Jayda but not Victoria? I don't even care if Victoria goes out with other men, but I can not stand the thought of Jayda in the arms of another man! Do I love Jayda? Have I been in love with her for years? Is that why I was angry when she left the States? She is so much younger than me. Surely I could not have been in love with her when she was only sixteen." Jason thinks. He will buy her a housewarming party when he returns from his office. He was not planning on going to his office today, but there was an emergency, and he had to go in to help out with one of the games that keeps getting stuck at one stage. "I will see you guys tonight." Jason says as he gets into his black SUV. He is still a bit upset with himself for acting like a teenager, and he will make it up to Jayda tonight. Jayden and Jack wave at him and get into their car to go and buy some food for tonight and snacks. They have arranged with Charlie's Place to make them some platters, and they go to buy wine, beer and whiskey. They did not invite the older people and only asked the young ones so Jayda could catch up with her old friends. Tonight they want to party and forget about studying and working. Jayden has taken over most of his father's business, but he keeps studying after hours. Jack took over Jennie's business. She helps him when he needs it. The twins, Dante and Delaney, are still at university. It is their first year at university. Delaney is learning to become a dentist. Dante is studying economics and will help Jayden run all his father's businesses when his studies are completed. They are not allowed to drink as they are still underage, but Jayden knows they will sneak in a beer or two. He knows how it feels to be underage and not allowed to drink at parties when his friends are drinking. Jayda is busy unpacking all her stuff in the kitchen. So she will have enough glasses and plates for the guests tonight. She does not know that Jack and Jayden invited Jason. She thinks of Jason, and she must admit that he is even more handsome than she remembered or his photos on the internet. "Why do I still have to have feelings for him? I thought I would outgrow it, but I could not stop thinking about him. Oh, Jason, if only you knew how I love you and always have. I don't understand why you are still mad at me for leaving. Don't you realise I ran away from you, hoping that I could forget about you? Oh, for crying out loud, Jayda, get over him! You will need to get your head out of the clouds. He still sees you as a little girl he can order around, like on that stupid online game they used to play. You are a doctor, and even if you never get married, you have the career you love." Jayda speaks to herself. Then, Jayda hears a knock on Jason's door. She peeks through the little peephole in her door to see who it is. Victoria is standing in front of Jason's door and keeps knocking. Should she tell her that Jason had gone out? She saw him leave with her brothers. "No, she can figure it out by herself. I am in no mood to talk to the woman who is always by Jason's side." Jayda thinks. Jayda keeps looking at Victoria, and she can see the actress is getting older. She does not play in many films anymore. She sees Victoria taking out her phone and dialing a number. Victoria throws her phone, and it lands in shatters at Jayda's door. Jayda opened her door after a while and looked out. She pretends not to know what is going on. "Oh, sorry, did you knock on my door?" Jayda asks. Victoria looks at the attractive young woman standing at the door. She walks over to pick up her cellphone, and Victoria's face does not look happy. "No, I did not, and since when are you staying here? I thought an elderly couple were staying here." Vitoria asks. Jayda is angry on the spot. Who does this woman think she is to ask her questions? Nevertheless, Jayda keeps her smile on her lips. "I moved in this morning. I am Dr Jayda Hudson." Jayda says. "Oh, you should know who I am." Victoria says. "No, sorry, I do not know you. Maybe you knocked on the wrong door. Are you looking for Jason?" Jayda asks. She looks innocently at Victoria. "How do you know Jason? Are you his lover, and did he buy you this apartment?" Victoria asks. Jayda is angry on the spot. "No, like some other woman around here, I do not need lovers to buy me stuff. I use my own money. I have known Jason since I was seven, and I did not even know he lived here until this morning." Jayda says. "Are you implying that I can not buy myself stuff and have lovers doing it for me?" Victoria asks. "You were implying it first. Besides, who are you?" Jayda asks, knowing it will be a slap in Victoria's face. "I am the famous actress Victoria Ward." Victoria says. "Wow, you look old. I did not even recognise you." Jayda says. "Who do you think you are to talk to me like that!" Victoria screams at Jayda. Jason walks around the corner as he hears Victoria's voice. He feels his heart sinks as he realises she is talking to Jayda. He had better go and save the situation as he knows how Victoria can get.
