A Second Life Changes

It all started and ended today, last year when he and she were tied together for a lifetime. My friend was in love with a boy who was sweet, just like maple syrup. She knew him for more than ages, Azzi. Her life without him was just nothing. They were together for more than 10 years, first childhood buddies, then love birds and then life partners. It seemed to be a fairy tale, which only had true lovers that were meant to be together and two beautiful children Ani, and Kri. But, she didn’t know what was coming to her. After, all these years of her trust were just broken when she saw her best friend sleeping next to her husband. She was broken, she became a person who was alive but dead. It was a person whom she shared every single thing. All these years she didn’t get to know how her best friend became her enemy, second wife of her husband. She was travelling for a business meeting for a week, dropped her children at my house but her last meeting got cancelled that was a day before her anniversary day. She decided to surprise her husband on anniversary eve by coming one day early. When she entered her house she received a call from her doctor telling her she was pregnant, and she ran upstairs to tell this to her husband but what she saw, she couldn’t bear it and she fell unconscious, Azzi woke up and took her to the hospital. He called me and told me to come over. I rushed to the hospital leaving Ani and Kri with my mom. When I got there and Azzi told me everything the only feeling I got was depressed and slapped Azzi. By seeing my frustration on him, and yelling “Get OUT”, he left. After 5 hours of wait, the doctor came and told me they were unable to save the baby and my friend was sent into a coma. Till now, my friend Keni didn’t come out of the coma and her husband I don’t know where he is but after that day he didn’t come back either to see Keni nor his children Ani and Kri but I do know he is alive. Isn’t it astonishing that it only takes a second to change someone’s life.
