I opened my front door praying that my mom wouldn’t be home yet, she texted me at Jake’s game that she was permitted to go home early today not like it was early in the day but around eight, she just had this rule for me that I must text and ask for permission anytime I want to leave the house in the evening according to her it wasn’t safe and I didn’t tell her about this.
I got in and peeked inside but thankfully no one was in the sitting room I let out a breath and walked inside majestically
“Where are you coming from young lady” I heard my mum’s voice making me freeze instantly in my step
“Hey, you are home?” I asked trying to change the topic
“Yes I am, I asked a question,” she said
