I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling then it hit me that we were already two weeks into the month and I hadn't made any progress with Kayla, other girls would be fawning by now but her guard was so high that she wouldn't even smile at me. So I decided to go head-on. I picked up my phone and called a guy on our soccer team to get Kayla’s number for me. He was that one guy who knew everything about everyone, shortly after he sent the number I texted her.
