I had to read through all through the period they were busy with exams, I didn't write the end of the session exam when they did because I had missed a lot of class and I wasn't confident enough to attend school too, so I applied for the makeup exams which held after the normal exams so I had to take notes I had missed and read very hard, I didn't want my circumstances to affect my grades in any way. My mum came back from work most nights and still found me by my table. Sometimes I sleep off there and she is the one that comes to take me up to my bed.
I was still not eating, and I got more and more skinny sickly looking my mum wanted to drag my ass to the hospital but I begged her with tears to let me finish my exams first before we did that, I didn't want anything to stop me from writing
