#2 The Current Situation

[Kayden started his new blog, his second number. Seemingly more tired than before, though his expression remained unchanged.]

It's my, blog number two. I hope to finish what I had started yesterday, the work was just as tiring, but it's important for me to record. Or else I fear, that loneliness will creep up to me.

Now, being an Adult, they would still teach you everything. And once done, you would be sent to jobs, the most famous and demanded jobs are robotics, manufacturing, lawyers, and most definitely scientists.

After this, your job will pay you handsomely. You would be given a quarter by the company itself, a big mansion type! It's within the company though.

You would have to follow some rules though, which are:-

(1) Wake up at 4:30 a.m sharp.

(2) Wear your protective wears all the time, while outside of your quarters.

(3) None of the break times should be extended without permission.

(4) Lunch and dinner are necessary, breakfast and snacks depend on yourself.

(5) While working, no mistakes should be made.

(6) Never take off your protective wear without very very much necessity.

(7) Your job ends at 7:50 p.m, you may do anything you want until 9:50 p.m after that dinner, and then sleep at sharp 10:25 p.m.

These are the basics, there are many more, but you just need to know these. The protective wear they mentioned are;

Spectacles:- Almost invisible glasses, after you wear them, your eyes are completely covered and yet you would never feel them. They protect your eyes from everything. They are also advanced, with them on, you will be able to use them as your phone. As the hologram would be in front of your eyes. Though usually people prefer headphones.

Special type of crotch protection for both male and female:- These prevent Doom entering your bloodstream from down there, completely covering your private parts, even if bullets were shooted there nothing would be harmed. Very effective, and comfortable.

A mask:- This covers your entire face, if on, doom can never enter your body, for eating you need to open the mask so the canteen place is very heavily cleaned, and yes your rooms, as in quarters are also cleaned by the company itself. The mask is also very safe.

Headphones:- These protect your ears, they are very comfortable and don't provide any weight on your ear. Almost as if it isn't there, also your headphones are very advanced, with them you can play music anywhere. Your headphones have an installed hologram machine, so you can operate it as your phone, and only you would be able to view the screen, and if you wish so, the screen will be visible to others as well.

Gloves:- Protection for the nails? Remember? These are soft and waterproof, actually all of the mentioned items are.

Clothes and underclothes:- These come in varieties, you can wear your favourite brand shirt, just give it to the company dress modifier first, and there! Your dress would be modified enough to never stick to your skin when you sweat, very soft and comfortable and not easily soiled

Now, remember I mentioned cult? Well, you see. These adults and children are moulded into such people who never questioned the company's ways, work blindly and follow the rules strictly.

Remember I said that your quarters would be cleaned? Well, they do clean but it's more of an excuse to go through your personal belongings to see if you have BB or want to rebel, or use the other company's products.

And so, you live basically in a paying jail, where you work, blindly follow rules, get severely punished, if not.

Old people:- Now, old people generally are from the age group of 50-100 years of age. We have some very effective medicines which reduce their weaknesses and make them work like a normal adult, as they can work like anybody else, they also have their own given jobs.

They are also run through the studies and are also given jobs accordingly, and they are also punished, corporal and mental, both if they break the rules.

[Kayden then sighed, his expression turning grim, he looked as if he was very sad to tell this particular part of the tale. Taking a deep breath, he continued.]

Black-blooded people:- They are the most sympathetic people here, because once the company gets to know that you have black blood, you just know that now you are the subject of very bad experiments. From cutting off your limbs, and not being limited to torturing you.

Well, that's about the basics.

[Kayden then sighed at the camera, he looked as if a weight had been released off him.]

Now, Since this is complete, I should also tell you about myself. That's only fair if I do so, so I am Kayden, Kayden Kai Black. K.K.B

My friends call me Kai, and well, my father's name was Kai. To tell you something or two, I lived with my mother when I was young, she and I lived alone in an apartment. She and my dad were well-off, so we didn't need to worry about meeting the ends.

I never really saw my dad, sometimes I heard his voice, but never talked to him. I am more of the daddy's boy, if you will, so I always wanted to meet dad, but sadly I never could.

My mother told me stories, she told me how I was very similar to my dad, terrifyingly similar, though I never know why she always used to seem very concerned when she used to say that.

When I was four, or three maybe. My mother got infected, she and I were not under any company, so no protections were available for her. When she got infected, she hid it, I never knew when I was younger, I just thought she had a cold.

I was only four, what could anyone expect? After approximately six months later, one day, I remember like it was yesterday, I was playing with some toys, they were wooden toys. As I played, my mother walked in, scared and pale like a ghost.

[The scene shifts to twenty-three years ago, year 4036, month April, day Thursday 24th. A young lad, with silver hair and red eyes was seen playing with his toys, when a young lady, with midnight black hair, red eyes and pale skin walked in. She was very beautiful, even when she was thirty-eight.]

Sakura walked in, scared, but seeing her child happily smiling and innocently playing with his toys calmed her mind a bit, she knew what she was going to do was very cruel, especially to a small child like him, but she knew better that if she didn't, then he would be harmed more.

Smiling gently, and ignoring her pain, she squatted down, and gently held Kayden's hand,

“Hey, my little angel. I have something to give you, a surprise!”

Little Kayden was excited at the thought of getting a surprise, so he excitedly hugged his mother, thanking her warmly. Smiling, she pulled out an album containing all the pictures of them living together, smiling happily, of her and her husband, of their marriage and of Kayden's birth.

Handing it over to him, she picked him up in her arms as she stood up. Walking close to the door, where a suitcase was laying down. She gently informed Kayden as she continued walking out, and with the suitcase to her car.

“My little baby, mother has to go somewhere….she can't take care of you for….some while, so mother is sending you somewhere safe. Okay?”

Little Kayden didn't know what to say, he didn't want to throw a tantrum because he didn't want to make his mother sad. So he nodded,

“When will you come back?”

Sakura smiled gently at that, though she felt guilty for lying, she clearly didn't intend to tell him the truth.

“Mother will return soon darling, with your dad too.”

Little Kayden smiled brightly at that, he was happy that he would finally meet his dad! Already his little mind was playing all the scenes where he could do with his dad. They were driving to where Sakura intended to send Kayden, and once there, she got out, talked with the guard as little Kayden watched from the window, and saw how his suitcase was taken and how his mother seemed sad.

Once done, she took him out, and in front of the entrance she had their last talk.

“Darling, I know this is sudden, but remember, even when I am not with you physically, even when you cannot hear my voice or see me. Know that, in this little place over here.”

She said pointing to his heart, “I and your dad will always be there, never ever think you are alone in this world, because even if I am not able to be with you, your dad is a stubborn mule, he would never in his life, leave you alone. Trust me.”

Little Kayden didn't fully understand what she tried to say, but he remembered it completely. Nodding he said,

“I understand mum, I will never be alone! Ever!”

Sakura smiled, she knew he didn't understand what she tried to say, but she was fine with it, for she knew he would understand it once he grows up. With one final word of advice she stood up.

“Remember Kayden Kai Black, the world is full of people who would love to take you down, mold you and break you, and would never let you be who you really are. You have the ability, far more than any one I know, other than your dad, to fight it back twice as much.

Because one thing I know from experience is that, Black blood, never gives up without giving hell to others. And you, my darling, are one of them. So remember, and never give up, if people try to f**k you, f**k them back up, a thousand times.”

Without even waiting for his reply, she left the little child speechless and alone. After walking away, she didn't take her car, giving it to the company to give to Kayden once he grew up, she walked for about ten minutes, when she collapsed to her knees, and cried, hard.

Crying she mumbled, “Oh lord, I don't know if you are listening. But please guide my child, I will not be able to, because you are claiming me so soon, so please, please guide my child back to his father.”

With that, she puked out black slime, and soon dissolved into just black sand, becoming a part of the Doom. Unknown to the fact, that the child she was praying for, had heard it all, and seen it all. Traumatized as he was, made an oath, to find his dad, and to destroy this f*****g hell of Doom.

[As he was telling this tale, the fire of determination never faltered, even while talking about his own mother's death. He seemed to be sad, but strong. Finally, finishing the flashback, he looked at the camera.]
