"""CHAPTER ONE""""(Aramaboko,is born). At a very large village of oxens,peace and happiness prevailed. Farmers were not allowed to give birth in this village as the king as decreed. But one day a child was found in one of the farmer's house.The King got angry and ordered Dako, one of the village's best farmer to gather men all round the village to beat up the farmer and his wife and to also throw the baby away into the river.The farmer and his wife were beaten and stoned to death while the child was thrown into the rivers. After this was done, the king came out to give a sound warning to all the remaining farmers and anybody who tries to disobey his orders. I sound this as a warning to all of you in this village.l am the king and no one will dear to drag it will me. When I give orders obey!, and peace will continue.The Ox king said as he lives to his palace. Some time later, while the baby ox was still on the water,a Pig called Pepar pig ,who went to farm with his two years old son .ls that a baby oxens?,he asked. Yeh dad !,I am sure it's a baby ox. Little pep said with excitement. papa pig quickly divided into the rivers to get the baby ox out of the river. Dad !,is he still alive?,Pep asked. Yes son !,he's still alive. Pepar Pig answered. They brought out the baby ox and took him to the Pig village. When Pepar Pig entered the village with an ox in his hand, they felt uncomfortable; Pepar Pig, what are you doing?,why will you bring a child of our enemies to the village?,One man said. The oxens might be our enemies, but this one is one of us,l have a feeling he will free us from the b*****e we are into. Pepar Pig explained and took the little ox inside his house. At night according to the Pigs tradition,a baby is named at night after every where was peace and quiet. Pepar pig, looked at the baby and saw that he was going to free them ,he named him 'Aramaboko',in the pig's language meaning 'the one that frees his people from their b*****e but called 'Aram', for short meaning "the one that saves". Pep!, Pepar Pig called his son to come quickly. Yes dad,here am I. Pep came in a rush. l want to let you know that Aram here is your brother and you should do anything you can to protect him and when he grows,he will surely protect you.Pepar Pig explain. Okay dad,l promise to do anything to protect my brother 'Aram'.Pep said. That's my boy. Pepar Pig said as he hugged his son. " " " " " CHAPTER TWO" ” " " (The chosen one). Aram had grown to become a young boy who did opposite of what other people in the village thought. He helped many old people, he was respectful and also responsible for any thing he does. One day the king of the Pig village, announced a open filled for all young children living in the village, representing one family or the other to come and show their various skills or abilities and the winner would be greatly awarded. Various Pigs and some other animals who reside in the village like the goats,the horses,cows and so on represented their various families. ln the family of Pepar Pig, Aram represented. The animals began showing their capabilities. The pigs showed their capability of being able to eat a lot of food, the goats showed their capability of being able to climb tall wall without claws, the cows showed their capability of being able to move heavy objects from on place to another, the horses, being able to run fast. When it came for the time for Aram to participate,the animals looked at him excepting to see him fail,but instead, Aram did what shocked everyone. He had an inner strength inside of him and could do anything. The king saw this braveness in him and decided to award him with the "little child instructor" in every event the children would be having. After the event, Aram and Pep were on their way home when Gako, the goat,Hura the horse and Vivo the cow surrounded them. You think you can go Scott Free from taking what belongs to us?,Vivo asked. I didn't take anything that belongs to you,it was decided to me by the king and not your parents. Aram said with boldness. Will you keep quiet!,Gako shouted. Hura walked close to Aram wanting to beat him up but Aram, due to anger flung Hura into one of the trees there. Gako and Vivo tried to do the same, and Aram also also treated them well by giving each one a black eye. When Aram was done dealing with them, he took Pep and left. At Pepar Pig 's house,three parents lined up before him reporting his son, Aram to him. Warn your son, Aram to stay away from our sons if not you are not going to like our next decision . The parents warned. l apologize for that, Pepar Pig plead. " " " CHAPTER THREE" " " (The hidden land) **At the Pigs ** After some time, during winter season, some men from the ox village passed by. When the watch Pigs saw from their tall tower covered with leaves, they made an alarm for all the villagers to hide. All the villagers ran inside locking their doors and making alarms. Run!!!, it's the Oxens!,Pepar Pig yelled as they all ran into their various homes. Dad!,why did we running away from them?,Aram asked Pepar. If we don't run away from those oxens, they will come after us and seize all our properties. Dad, but we didn't do them anything for them to come and seize all of our properties. Pep said. Okay! boys,seat down let me tell you how everything began. It was a long time ago when I was much younger, our people and that of the Oxens lived in peace and harmony and was under only one rule by the great 'Thorgun',a powerful ox and a great warrior. The was the ruler of the people of the Oxens and also the ruler of our clan. After peace and harmony reigned for twenty years,a problem struck. One of the Oxens killed his neighbor that is a Pig due to contemplation of land ownership. The pig clan came together to report the matter to the king, but he paid no attention to the pigs complaint. Instead he snubbed them and told them to pay a fine for disturbing his majesty . The pig clan were furious because of the King's decision over their dead brother. Few years later Thorgun had a son whom he named 'Adgan' . He ordered everybody in the village to come for the ceremony but the pig clans refused due to the King's decision concerning their dead brother. The king was so furious that he made the Oxens killed the pigs. when the Pigs saw what was going on, they gathered one night and escaped far away to a hidden land where the Oxens would not see them. Are we presently living in the hidden land ?,Aram asked . Yes of course, this village is hidden inside thick bushes which will make it difficult for the Oxens to locate us. Any time the watchers saw the Oxens afar off, they will alert us so we could hide before they notice a village here.Pepar pig explained. When the Oxens had passed,all the pigs and everyone living in the village came out filled with relief and joy that the Oxens didn't locate their village or even touch any of their properties. After the rejoicing, everyone went back to their businesses.
