it's Friday and Maya has not started to get ready for the party that is starting thirty minutes from now she is sitting down on her bed and staring into nothing

"Maya! are you ready yet" James shouted from outside her bedroom Maya thought " he likes shouting my name a lot doesn't he " she replied him " am coming " she stood up and went to her wardrobe and picked out something " this is at least better than most of my dresses " she went to the bathroom and prepared for the party after dressing she stood in front of the mirror and looked at her reflection she was dressed in a white long gown her hair was let free which was reaching her waistline she wore blue

earrings and necklace that has the shape of a butterfly she wore heels her makeup wasn't much she was putting on a colorless lipgloss she then took her bag and went downstairs " finally you are here " James looked at her " you look beautiful if you weren't my wife already I would have made you mine " Maya didn't know how to feel about this but she was not comfortable hearing that from him which was weird she answered " thanks" "let's go ".

They arrived at the city hall the press were there taking pictures when they came down from the car James offered his arm to her and she took it and they went towards the hall the security asked for their invitation card they showed him and they were allowed In when they got inside it was already filled with alot of people James let go of her hand

" am going now whatever you do don't embarrass me " he leaving Maya to herself she looked around and saw an empty chair and decided to go sit down there after sitting down she looked around and realised that alot of celebrities and famous business people are the attendees she then looked at the decorations the hall was decorated with white souvenirs everything was purely white and blue " hm maybe their favorite colors are white and blue " suddenly people began to stand up and face towards the entrance she stood up to see what was going on and saw that the Lee family has arrived the family was dressed in white and blue they were four in number and each of them looked amazing but what caught Maya's attention was two people one of them was the girl she bumped into at the mall and the other was the blue eyed boy she definitely could recognize the eyes anywhere " wow no wonder he wore a face mask he is handsome hm the girls here are going to have an heart attack

for sure every one of them look amazing"

everyone began to take their sits the family took their sits and one of them being Mr David Lee took the floor " good evening everyone me and my family are really delighted to have you share this celebration with us it been so long that this company has been in place from my father and now to my son our company has been growing since the beginning and am glad that my son is taking over and is doing a very good job at it so am going to give room for my son to speak thank you " everyone clapped Maya thought " the famous David Lee the media is correct for he does look young for his age his hair looks perfectly styled back his expensive tuxedo fits him well " someone began to speak and Maya payed attention to the person talking and saw that it was the blue eyed man " good evening everyone some of you might know me some might not I don't show myself publicly that much but I will introduce myself my name is Jason Lee son of Mr and Mrs Lee I have been in charge of the company for sometime now and am glad it's still growing I thank everyone for coming this evening and supporting us and I hope that I can continue with growing the company so please enjoy your the rest of the party thank you " everyone clapped Maya was still wondering what happened because she is sure she did not here like half if what he said which she is wondering why she then turned her attention to Jason he had long hair which was neatly tied in a bun and he was wearing a blue tuxedo which matched with his Maya turned attention back to the party and started looking to find who she came with she saw him again with that same lady from the party " her again what was her name Lia Laila Lucia ah yes Lucy why is she here and what are they magnet that they can just find each other am too bored for this am hungry " she called a waiter and took a plate she started eating after the meal the music started playing and people began to dance " oh it's an exchange your partner type of dance " James came over and took Maya's hand " let's go dance " they went to the dance floor and started dancing until partners were exchanged and she ended up with someone else they danced again partners were exchanged she was exchanged and saw that Lucy ended up with James

no wonder he wanted to dance " she did not take notice to who was dancing with her until she faced him and was surprised to see it was Jason she smiled awkwardly and thought to herself

" what should I say hi yeah I will say that" she smiled properly this time " hi" Jason didn't answer " um when someone tells you hi what you have to say is hi too or hello or even hey is acceptable don't just keep quiet" Jason looked at her with one of his eyebrow raised he then answered

" hello " Maya smiled " good so how are you enjoying your party" " it's boring"

" wow says the host" " there's nothing interesting " " hm I will tell you too even I am bored" " what's your name" " Maya "

" and your last name" Maya hesitated she doesn't feel okay taking James name but she has to he is her husband

" Maya Claude my husband is James Claude " " oh I didn't know he didn't mention anything about being married"

" you have met him before" " yes actually we met a long time ago over some business meeting and he just kept flirting with.." " what?" " nothing he just didn't look married" " oh right about you any relationship" " no single don't have some one I like " " well you can have anyone you want with just your look talk more of your background" " exactly I don't want someone who wants me for my fame or money but someone who loves and supports me my comfort zone but its hard to find someone like that these days" " tell me about it even when you try to give them your best it's like is never enough and it's just frustrating and tiring and you just feel like giving up on everything but at the same time you can't that's just how I feel right now" maya looked at Jason and realized she just poured out her feelings to a stranger she then wondered why it is taking so long for them to exchange until she realised that the music had stopped they both stopped dancing " sorry I didn't mean to say those things to you" " it's fine even I am wondering why said those things to you too" "um I have to go"

" sure and Maya you are not alone there are people who still love you so hold on okay" " okay thank you" she left and went back to her sit she thought to herself

" why did I say those things to him it just felt like I could talk to him freely what is wrong with me Maya you are married for crying out loud that is not even helping"

" it's you again" Maya turned to see who it was and that it was the girl from the mall " oh hi" " hi I saw you dancing with my brother you guys were good" " um thank you but am married" " oh sorry I didn't know" "it's fine am Maya"

" Rachel nice to meet you" "so Jason is your brother" " more like cousin but works either way" " oh okay" " can I get your number let's chat or meet up sometime" "sure" Maya gave her number to her"thanks I have to go they might be looking for me" " okay bye" " bye" Maya watch her leave and was once again left alone with her thoughts time flew by and she was getting tired she decided to go look for James when she found him he was still with Lucy so she decided to go meet them " hi it's you again nice seeing you James let's start going" she doesn't really care if she interrupted them

" well see you later Lucy let's go"

" couldn't you wait for sometime" " no"

" you are lucky we at the party if not you won't be this brave" Maya rolled eyes but James could not see it they got their car and James started the ride to their house through out whole ride Maya could only think of one thing and that is the blue eye man named Jason
