My Seed.

Half a week later:

After a half week had passed Lindsey felt as if she could keep her morning sickness at bay to get home as she could see Logan was beginning to get agitated in Hawaii as he had a meeting that he needed to be in. As soon as Logan found out Lindsey was well enough to fly again he booked the first flight back to Miami with his private jet and Lindsey wasn't surprised that it was at 3 o'clock. Ever since she has been ill Logan hasn't even looked at her, even though he promised to look after her it was like he had abandoned her for the rest of their holiday. "I have a meeting to go to so can we please hurry up with the packing", she felt ill that morning when they had to wake up for their flight and he knew that but he still rushed her throughout it.

Once they boarded the plane the whole atmosphere fell silence once again and all Lindsey could think about was the life that was growing inside of her. She couldn't help but think about how she ended up pregnant when she was on birth control. "s**t", she thought as she remembered that she hadn't taken her pill for the two days before and on the day that she had lost her virginity. So the life growing inside of her would not only grow to know that their father didn't appreciate or like them but would have a slight feeling that they were a mistake. "No," she said aloud and Logan turned swiftly to look at her, "sorry I had a nightmare", he grunted and turned back over to look outside. If there was one thing Lindsey would do, it would be loving her baby enough that they know they didn't have to ever think about it. Which is why when she arrives home she is organising a doctors appointment to get an ultrasound and to talk about her severe morning sickness. This way Logan would never have to know as she knew he would never appreciate the life she would bring into this world.

As they landed Alfred was there to greet them with the car to drive and home. He gave Lindsey a quick hug looked at Logan and opened the door for them to get in to leave. "So how was the trip, Lindsey?" Logan grunted and soon interrupted them asking for silence as he was tired and they both soon gave up talking. They arrived home and all Lindsey could do was leave them all to go to bed as Logan's bad mood had annoyed her to the max as he had been the same for the past 4 days. As her head hit the pillow she was asleep in seconds after their long flight and as for Logan, well he got dressed all smart and left the house at half 7 for a meeting nobody knew about. "Lindsey", she opened her eyes and saw Alfred and Josie by her side with a glass of orange juice and a plate of food and the second she smelt it she ran to the bathroom and threw up everywhere. "Lindsey are you okay?", Josie knocked on the door and waited for Lindsey to open it to let her in. "What's wrong? Logan said you felt better which is why you flew home", Lindsey sat on the floor head in hands without looking at Josie. "So I guess you can cross scrambled eggs on toast off your pregnant side menu", Lindsey looked at her in amazement that she had guessed it so quickly and couldn't help but let a flood of tears escape her eyes. It didn't take long for Josie to comfort her and for Alfred to knock on the door to see if they were both alright. Once Lindsey had explained the situation to them both it didn't take them long before they phoned a doctor for Lindsey to see that day whilst Logan was still at his meeting. "Half one, okay thank you", Josie looked at Lindsey and explained that she had 10 minutes to get into something comfortable before all three of them left and although Lindsey tried to convince them that she was okay they did not allow her to go alone.

Lindsey developed butterflies in her stomach as she sat in the waiting room with Josie and Alfred either side of her and couldn't wait any longer for the doctor to see her. Luckily just as she thought she couldn't wait anymore the doctor called out her name and Lindsey suddenly wanted Alfred and Josie to come with her but they sat in their seats and said they would be there the whole time. Eventually, it was just Lindsey and the doctor in the room with Lindsey as nervous as ever. "Right Lindsey, I have been emailed reports from the doctor you saw in Hawaii and it looks like we need to do some tests and an early ultrasound". Once all the tests were complete Lindsey had to wait a little while before the results would show but now it was the moment in which she had been waiting to meet her baby.

Lindsey's P.O.V:

As she put the cold Jelly on my stomach I couldn't help but jump as the temperature of it was not what I had expected but I soon got used to it. She switched the screen on and placed the transducer probe onto my stomach and softly moved it around my stomach. At first, I couldn't look and then she moved the machine a little bit to the left and I could see this tiny little dot on the screen about the size of a seed. "That's your baby", she said and I couldn't help but cry as I stared at my gorgeous seed baby growing inside of me. "We won't get to hear a heartbeat just yet as you are only one week pregnant but when you come back in a few short weeks, you will get to hear it". I smiled at her and asked if Alfred and Josie could join me to see the tiny seed within me and she nodded before leaving to get them. "I promise little one, I will keep you safe and if your dad won't love you then my love will grow to fit the both of our places". I was soon interrupted from my one to one moment with the baby as Alfred and Josie joined me to see my little seed on the screen. I lay looking at my baby as they shed a few tears whilst hugging me and kissing me on the forehead and with this moment, I felt like I had a true family for the first time in a long time.

I just hope that I can make this last forever because soon I will have left Logan forever.
