You move into your new place, Finally, you can start a new life here. You came here to work on your next big book “Space XX” the sequel to your bestseller “Space X”. You are getting the movers to move the last things into your house and have recently hired an interior decorator to show you how you can change up your house. Everything became a blur, one minute you were gardening and the next moment you get called to move into a house so you can work on writing. It was truly a dream. While you were waiting for him, you decide to post about the house on your social media. Your publisher told you that it would be a good idea for you to get publicity because “Every decent writer has at least one social media account”. This wasn’t your first book, but it was definitely your first bestseller. You were old so you were trying to figure out how “this stupid piece of technology” even works. When you eventually figure this out, you hear a ring. “This must be Brent,” you think to yourself. You open the door to see you are correct. It’s Jay, your best friend who has an eye for what matches and what doesn’t. You are polar opposites where you didn’t even know if plaid matches with strips while he knew that red and black were the best combination. He takes one good look at your house and says “You know that you need to buy new furniture right?” You answer back “nice to see ya too Jay.” He then laughs and drags you to his car, a nice looking minivan because “What if I have kids? Where they gonna sit?” You don’t bring up the fact that he’s gay and doesn’t want children because he said that he might “find a cute man that might want some.” You roll your eyes playfully as you reluctantly get yourself in the van. His minivan looks and smells really good. You get so distracted by the smell that you fall asleep. You wake up and find yourself back home. “Did we even go?” “Yeah. You’re ass was sleeping the entire time. How did you not wake up? This mean old b***h tried to rob me and your ass was still sleeping. How could you? Anyways for your punishment, I ain’t helping your boney ass move the furniture inside. Good luck!” Well s**t. You needed some of the help. Despite his stick-ish figure, Brent can deadlift 600lbs. He has even shown you to prove it to you. You look at the couch in the trunk and count your prayers. The thing was larger than you. You slowly take one side of the couch and hear a large thud. “What the hell are you doing?” “doing what you’re telling me to do asshole.” “You know what, never f*****g mind.” “. . .” your reluctant to ask this question. “Can I sleep in your van again?” Jay looks at you and just gives you the finger. You gladly take over the passenger seat and knock yourself out in the van. It smells like a warm blanket out the wash, and with the nice summer evening, you fall back asleep. You wake up again to see Jay giving out cash to some men in royal blue uniforms. “Sandra, how long were you sleeping, damn?” “It’s not my fault everyone is breathing down my damn back. what did you order?” You look to see inside the house that almost everything is put neatly in order. It really helps to have someone there who knows what they're doing. You say goodbye to Jay and get the rest of the stuff in order. It doesn’t look too dark so you go out to the backyard and look at the flowers that are still in their plastic containers. Jay knows you best so he doesn’t bother with the flowers, how nice! You take the flowers out of their box and insect them. Luckily nothing is broken so you start planting them. Your garden looks so nice from the forest that’s down the street. You specifically chose this house at the end of the street because it’s so quiet. when you finish gardening, you realize it’s late and you need to get up early to finish your manuscript. You quickly clean up and get ready for bed. You think back into you’re life and you feel happy. You’re so proud of yourself and think happy thoughts as you slowly drift off to sleep.
