I barely got any sleep after the sudden and terrifying realisation that dawned on me. Groggy due to the lack of sleep, I got up and conducted my usual routine through bleary eyes. After that, I slumped into the living room, still half asleep in search of some food, to silence my grumbling stomach.
Ashley and Michael were already up and eating breakfast by the time I had entered the kitchen area, looking a lot more awake than I did. Ashley was currently feeding Michael a bit of egg off her spoon romantically, but it grossed me out. Clearly, this was not sometihing to be witnessed by other people.
“Ugh. Couples.” I commented as I plopped myself down on a chair at the dining table. I rubbed my eyes and stifled a yawn.
