I ruminated on it for a moment, though I worked out my answer almost immediately. But I had to get over my initial shock at Hunter asking me out. Was that what he was doing? Asking me out? Like on a date? A real date? I wanted to find out the answer, but frankly, I was too scared to ask. He could’ve meant it only as a friendly thing and Hunter might assume I was weird for accepting a non-existent date.
