It wasn’t difficult to guess, but not a lot of rehearsing went on. Quite the opposite, in fact.
I started off experimenting with songs from my repertoire, trying to find a suitable song to sing. This took some time as I had to find a brand-new song, and I was always so picky. But, I didn’t want to sing the same song. That would be unforgivable! Unless a song was stated specifically, it was always best to be prepared and take as many songs as possible.
And it took me ages to settle on the first song, so I knew I had a lot of work ahead of me. However, it didn’t take long for us to get bored and a little delusional due to tiredness.
