Last Chapter

The bowling alley was packed when Madison and Kyle walked in. There were pink, blue, orange and green lights beaming on to the lanes and they could hear the sound of balls crashing into pins and the giddy laughter of children and adults alike. A child’s birthday party was set up in one corner with streamers and balloons and a table full of presents. The joyous atmosphere was contagious as Madison surveyed the scene and smiled at the cheering and celebrating that was happening around her. Their friends had just arrived and were all putting on their shoes.
