Second chance at living

Angelina is an ordinary Sri Lankan girl of age 25. She is 5ft tall and have wavy black hair with big dark eyes and brownish colored skin . She considered her self unlucky and ugly because nothing worked out for her easily at all. She lost her father, mother and sister in a car accident when she was 16 years old and had to live with her grand mother who never bothered about her.  They were just living under the same roof without having any of interactions and mostly her grand mother lived with Angelina’s uncle. They all blamed Angelina for her family’s accident as they were on their way to pick her up. However, after few years her grandmother was also passed away. And other relatives cut ties with her. She learned to take care of herself after that and she was very courageous; never backed down from any challenge no matter how much she fails; she will see through it. She was determined to have her happiness and although life threw s**t at her, she picked herself up remembering how her mother would have encouraged her. Though everyone thought she was a bad-luck cause she was born on 13th August her mother made herself think differently. But not having them around made the thought of being a bad luck deep rooted in Angelina’s mind. However, She encouraged herself to be well educated and qualified as a Management Accountant. She started her career in hope of getting good exposure; but, things never worked on the way she liked. After too many rejections she got a small job as a Management Assistant. She started working there as she was very tight on money. The savings and wealth of her family left was not too much and she barely had enough money remained to feed her. She thought that ‘beggars can’t be choosers’ and sticked into that job for the time being. Her colleagues used to take advantages of her. She was bullied by some and others showed kindness so they can entrust their share of tasks to be done by her. She knew it all but still she took that kindness as she had no one. She didn’t even have a best friend. Her best friend was her sister Joey. Joey was 2 years older than Angelina and she loved and treasured Angelina very much. Joey was popular at the school and everyone loved and respected her. Angelina was very much opposite to Joey. But no one dared to mistreat Angelina cause of Joey. However, everything changed after Joey died. Nolie, Joey's closest friend started bulling Angelina blaming that she was the reason that they lost their beloved Joey in the first place. Soon, Angelina believed their words. After all, they were on their way to pick her up. However, no matter what she wanted to get through everything, every obstacle cause she wanted to live for her family. Before the accident Angelina had a boyfriend. He was very loving and made her special. They dated for 2 years and being silly Angelina dreamed that he was the love of her life and wanted to marry him and have a happy marriage life with him. But after the accident when Angelina was swallowing the pain of lost of her family she made herself isolated. After few days when she try to connect with the real world she found out that her beloved was indeed had started an affair behind her back. She was so lost and she realized that she was so much depended on others that she now feels empty as no one was there for herself now. She started self-loathing.  To avoid the pain she had, she put herself into studies. Later, she managed to obtain a degree. Again she met a guy whom she had known when she was little. He had shown interest on her and she innocently believed that he was sincere. However, little did she know that he was indeed had ulterior motives and was using her. Things didn't last that long as he found another victim who was easier to use than Angelina. So he had left her without saying anything. Later Angelina found out the truth and she was so devastated. She was so tired of everyone using her as everyone knows her story. She wanted to escape... Her dream was to get away from her current life. She felt like she was just surviving in hope for a better future. She wanted to migrate to another country where she can start a new life. There no one new her and she could start fresh. She wasn't planning to fall in love again. She just wanted to have a peaceful life. May to adopt a pet so she won't feel lonely. She prayed for that day to come early as possible every day.  Never thought her prayer would be answered in a miraculous way.
