Chapter Twenty-Nine
“Drink this, then I want you to get some rest.”
He nodded, taking a sip of the juice. I sat Amelia’s drink down on the nightstand, knowing that I would have to remind her to drink it when she got done with her shower. Sitting down on the bed, I twisted the lid off of my bottle of water. Taking a sip of water, I brushed my hand over his thigh. Happy to be able to touch him.
“Do you want to tell me how the proposal went?” I asked and Louis gave me a tired, grateful smile.
“It was perfect, we fixed dinner, and then after we watched the sunset and I popped the question.” Louis said, with a soft look in his eyes and I knew that he was thinking about what had happened between the two of them.
