Chapter Thirty
They had been reading the latest Jensen Spellmore books and it was cute to watch them argue about the characters. I wondered if that was a series they were really enjoying, if it was maybe I would get them signed copies as an early Christmas gift.
I looked at the bed one last time before making my way out of the room and into the kitchen. Shifting both glasses to my arms, I hooked my fingers into the teakettle, taking it with me to the sink. I rinsed the glasses, then filled the kettle up and took it back to the stove. Turning on the burner and watching the flames lick at the copper kettle.
