Chapter Forty-One
Swallowing hard, I tried to will my body to relax at the thought of her being tied to our bed. She would hate me for it and I didn’t want to crush that spirit of hers that I loved so much. I loved Amelia for all the strength that she had, for the way that she tested my limits.
Turning away from the bed, I made my way out of our room and down the hallway towards our bathroom. I pushed the door open, walking over to the cabinet, I pulled out three washcloths, and took them over to the sink. I pressed the stopper down, dumping them into the sink and turning on the hot water. Waiting for the water to get hot, I looked at myself in the mirror above the sink.
