Chapter Forty-Two
“It was good. The beach was pretty.”
“If it was good, then why did you guys come home early?” He shook his head before pressing a kiss to the pads of my fingers. Sin nipped at them before he spoke again. “Not that I’m complaining or anything. Any extra time I get with you is all the better for me.”
“We missed you guys.” I answered and he nodded, untangling his fingers from mine to drape his arm over my shoulders.
“We missed you too.” He said, tucking me into his side as he quickened his pace and I had to walk faster to keep up with him.
