After two days in the basement my dad tells me to get out of there. When I enter the kitchen I can see an angry expression on his face. He doesn’t mention what happened two days ago. I’ll just sit quietly at the table. My father gave me breakfast and left the room.

I didn’t even notice that I was holding my breath. After the last few days I got a little bit scared of him. I don’t know what changed because his behavior is very different right now.

After twenty minutes he entered the room again. He started talking to me; Anne I need to have a few words with you. Yesterday it was 13 years since your mom got killed. She was attacked by rogues at the moment of the attack. You were a member of the purple moon clan. The clan doesn’t exist anymore.

Right now you’re starting to look like your mom and I don’t like it one bit. You are reminding me of the time she got killed. That’s why I acted that way. In a few hours we will get some visitors. Alphas from other packs. I need you to be in the basement. They can’t find out that you’re living here with me. Promise me that you will be staying there. If I see your face I will make sure that you won’t live anymore.

After his last words my fear came back. I just nodded, grabbed my dinner and went to the basement. When i got in he locked the door again. I didn’t know what to do anymore. I was getting more lonely every single day.

I couldn’t exercise righty now because the shower is upstairs plus I don’t have water so I should save my energy. I decided to start some reading

Masons POV

Mason is a very strong alpha. After a rogue attack his parents died. He is the alpha of his pack for three years now. He is 21 years. He is known as a very dangerous alpha.

I asked my beta again, why do we need to go towards that low life? Chad sighs again. He has the land next to our territory, if you’d like to expand you need to buy it from him. There will be another alpha because the both of you would like to have his land.

Well then let’s get in the car. It was a very short drive. Not even ten minutes. When we entered the lands we saw a big fence around it. The land wasn’t looking very healthy. It looked like nobody did the work that needed to happen.

When the door opened this crazy smell entered my nose. It smelled like roses, the first thing I could think about was my mate. I never met her but I knew she was alive, I could feel it.

The man introduced himself as Keith, we followed him towards the kitchen. As we walked trough the house the scent got stronger. I really wanted to find out where the scent came from.

The first thing I asked him was; where is the other alpha, I would like to know my competition. Keith told me that he would be coming after I was gone. He didn’t want the two alphas to get angry because they both wanted the land.

We got a tour around the house. There was this big shelf where the scent became stronger. I was standing there because I wanted to move the shelf. Keith was trying to distract me but I didn’t trust him one bit. I needed to get on his good side because I really needed this land.

After I made my offer we went towards the car. Chad I thought that the man would be alone. Did you get the scent that was lingering around the house?
