I heard the door open and my dad introduced himself. I was getting excited about the voice I could hear. At one point I could hear the voice very close. It was like he was standing on the other side of the door.

I was very sad that I couldn’t meet other people. I never interacted with another person before so it would be great to talk with someone. Maybe it would be less lonely.

After they left I heard another person at the door. The same introduction from my father and this person was also walking around the house.

I was wondering what was going on. After the last man left I fell asleep. I woke up from a sound of moving furniture. My dad came in a few seconds later and told me to help with the cows. After we were done he ignored me again. It wasn’t like he was a bubbly person but usually he would say some words. When I was doing the dishes I dropped a plate by accident. My dad stormed inside and grabbed a fist full of hair. He threw me against the wall and started cursing.

I tried to reason with him but he only got angrier. I had some bruising on my arm when I went towards the basement.

The following days were about the same. I got up had breakfast and went in to the basement, helped with the cows and got a few beatings and cried myself to sleep.

It was now the morning of my birthday. I was finally getting my wolf today. When I got upstairs for breakfast my dad looked furious again. I didn’t know what I did wrong and tried to apologize, he didn’t listen and threw me against the wall. My head hit de wall and all I could see were black dots after this my vision became black. A few minutes later I woke up all alone in the kitchen.

I got up and decided to clean the mess. My dad came back into the kitchen and said: go back to your basement I am gone for today. I will be back around 8pm.

I just followed his orders and went in there.

After he left I decided to try the door. Usually I don’t try it anymore but I didn’t want to stay inside on my birthday. All of the sudden I heard a voice in my head ‘ just try it and if it’s open go, make a run’

Who is this? What’s happening I was saying out loud. I am Elvira, I am your wolf but hurry we’ll talk later you need to go right now. The door opened and I ran towards the front door. The front door was locked. I was walking around and saw an open window. I decided to climb out of it. After my feet touched the ground I started running into the woods that surrounded our house. I didn’t know where I was going but I needed to escape this place. I was done being locked up.

After 30 minutes of running I saw some people, maybe rogues? I have to hide. I tried to climb a tree but it didn’t work out the way I wanted it too. I heard one of the man screaming ; ‘ mindlink the others she might be a rogue’

I was afraid but I didn’t want them to catch me because I didn’t trust them. I started running in another direction. Not towards the house because I didn’t want to see that place ever again...
