I glared at the place. I was stuck here—cut off from the outside world, no, from Lily—both physically and technologically. Not by choice, though. It was Derby's brilliant idea. Something about proving how much I was willing to endure for Lily, that she was worth waiting for. And she'd recruited Carl, Carter and Parker to do her dirty work, ensuring I stayed here.
