Annabelle

After the back and forth with my parents at dinner we finally finished having dinner and went to our separate rooms am really tired and was really hoping to get some sleep

I didn't see Chris again after this afternoon was hoping to do some catching up with her

I really hope my workers would cooperate with me because I wouldn't want problems with them

I was contemplating on how to approach Lucas so as not to appear as a loose woman and I know exactly what to do

am such a genius hahaha I laughed

upon getting to my room I went to the wash room to take my bath after that I brushed my teeth and did the various nightly routine that woman do

after wearing my favorite shorts and a very big shirt I prefer this to the night dresses that women usually wear to bed said my prayers and went to sleep with a smile on my face

I had to set an alarm to wake me up because of the time difference I did not want to over sleep, I heard it ringing but was still enjoying my sleep but it never stopped so I woke up with much difficulty

I went to the wash room for my daily routine like brushing my teeth taking a shower and other stuff, was wondering why my mom hasn't sent anyone to wake me up already I guess she wants me to rest a bit.

after bathing I put on a white long sleeve shirt paired with dark blue jeans with knee length winter boots and a cow boy hat I looked at myself in the mirror and I love what i see wow amazing

wow you look amazing my mom said when she saw me coming down the stair case, thank you I did a three sixty when I got down the stairs do you think I can break a heart I said jokingly not just a heart but many many hearts you look amazing princess

thank you mama , where's Dad ooh he's already in his office, is he not joining us for breakfast I asked. ooh no he already had a cup of coffee and said he will have brunch instead or lunch with us

always a worker holic are you not going to advise him to slow down, and you think I haven't tried, he just won't listen so I live him to do what he likes

let's go to the table dear, wow you guys are always having a feast I said it's all for you darling mom said, so mom do you think Dad is gonna hand over everything to me soon I do not want to sit around idle

why don't you take some rest first you've been studying all your life and I think it's time for you to relax and enjoy life am sure your dad will hand over to you at the right time and besides I never heard you talking about a man before what's going on

I blushed after she said that , ooh mom don't worry I will tell you when I meet someone special, are you sure you have not met him yet cause the way you are blushing am sure there's someone special she said smiling

so tell me about it am all ears " there's no one mama I will tell you should I meet someone okay let's eat our breakfast the food is getting cold , if you say so take your time. alright mama

mom I want to go to the office and meet Dad is he with someone I asked my mom after we finished eating am sure he's with one of the workers probably his assistant but you can go and meet him

alright mom will see you later I kissed her on the checks and went to the kitchen to see my Nanny before leaving I hugged her from behind and she squealed

it's me Nanny ooh dear she turned to hug me how are you child am sorry I couldn't make time to meet you yesterday I was a little busy. it's alright nanny I can understand and am doing well as you can see

where's Chris I haven't seen her since yesterday afternoon. ooh she was here a while ago but I don't know where she went ooh there she comes

Annabelle you look amazing where are you going Chris asked after giving me a hug , am going to work. really so soon I taught you will relax for a while before starting work

Don't worry about me am very fine and I don't want to sit at home doing nothing you know I don't like being idle I will see you guys later. alright see you soon bye

I knocked on my Dad's office and I heard a come in so I opened the door and peaked inside are you busy Dad , not too busy for you he said

good morning Dad how was your night, it was wonderful how about yours it was great Dad why didn't you join us for breakfast, am sure your mom told you I don't usually eat breakfast

then I heard someone clearing his throat only for me to look and boom it was him am guessing you know who am referring to, almighty Lucas am so glad my Dad didn't call me princess in his presence I would have been so embarrassed

oh Princess here goes nothing he didn't just call me princess ooh God no, meet Lucas my right hand and Lucas meet my lovely daughter

ooh boy not his voice am literally melting

and the electricity that shot through my hands were something else I do not know if am the only one feeling it but I hope not because I really do not know how to pursue a man

alright ma'am sorry miss Annabelle he was trying to give me a sign but I didn't understand so asked him what was wrong and he motioned to his hands and I was so embarrassed I quickly released his hands and avoided his eyes I just realized he has one of the most amazing green eyes

what's there not to like about this guy, today he is wearing a coffee coloured shirt paired with blue jeans his hair still tied in a pony tail reaching his shoulders and putting on a combat boot he freaking looks amazing , what is happening to you Anna get your self together I heard my inner man saying

So Princess you wanted to meet me my Dad said, Dad can you stop calling me princess it kinda embarrassing he smiled

I wanted to ask what I needed to do and also wanted someone to show me around but it seems you guys are busy ,, no no dear we were just going through the invitee's list Lucas can show you around I can do the rest

I did a happy dance to think I was planning how to ask my Dad about him without sounding obvious, okay Dad I need to talk to you but am sure it's going to be after the party.
