It's a new day and am grateful to the Lord for the gift of life, I live with my grandma in this small town of ours she's the only family member I know

good morning grandma I gave her a side hug you're up so early am making your favorite come sit down and eat I was about to protest but the face she made mearnt no argument

grandma I told you not to cook for me I can cook for the both of us , please stop bothering yourself

No no no I love cooking and you know it and am not stopping until you bring a woman to this house because am not going to listen to you

Grandma I told you I will bring her when I meet her , are you saying all the beautiful women flocking around do not fit in your criteria

Never said that , grandma can we focus on eating please am running late

I love her with all my heart because she's the best thing that ever happened to me

I never got to meet my mom , grandma told me my mother died whilst giving birth to me and has refused to tell me anything about my father

I only wanted to have a sense of belonging because I felt very bad when my mates used to call me names in primary school.

I persuaded her several times but she refused to tell me saying am better off not knowing who my father is and even my granddad also refused to tell me when he was alive

am a twenty seven years old young man with a height of six foot 2 with broad shoulders green eyes and shoulders length hair

My grandma will always tell me not to cut my hair short since it reminded her of her late husband my grandfather

people always tell me am very handsome which I already know but I never let it get into my head I work hard to take care of my grandma and myself

I know I would one day get married and have children to keep my blood line alive and I do not want my children to suffer that's one of the reasons why I work my ass off every blessed day even though my grandma is always on my neck to slow down.

I've been working on the smiths farm as the right hand man of the boss for the past few years after graduating with first class in business Administration

Some people always wonder why I did not travel to the city to work there after graduation like some of my colleagues but I didn't want to leave town, I want to stay around because I love this small town of ours

And my grandma has refused to leave town for anywhere else because she says the house always reminds her of my grandfather and does not want to leave their memories behind

I also work at my friend Timothy's gym after work on the farm since he works in the city and because of that almost all the ladies both married and single come over to train which I know it's because most of them if not all wants to get into my pants .

but I don't mind them coming because we make more money, even though I've made it very clear to all of them am off limits, I want to keep myself for my wife and I hope she's doing same

I will be the happiest man on earth if she's also keeping herself for me

My boss told me yesterday that her daughter will be coming back today after studying abroad for over fifteen years

I really hope she's not a brat else we'll have to kiss our jobs good bye just like my last working place

I was fetching water for the horses when I saw the car that was sent to pick her up from the airport approaching and I rushed to where I was going to avoid them because I do not want trouble on her first

day

I felt eyes on me but I decided not to look back cus I knew it was her, I only looked when she turned around she looks beautiful even from her back she was wearing dark shorts paired with a white shirt and sneakers, her long blonde hair reaching her mid back I hope her character is as beautiful as herself

I was doing some work when I saw Chris approaching with a smile on her face people sometimes tell me she's crushing on me but I dought it

she's been kind to me since I started working here few years ago, why are you all smiles today I asked

it's time for me to go to my second job the gym after washing my self I stepped out to go there upon opening up people started rushing in

and then she came in wondering who , it's Valerie the mayor's daughter no matter how I try to tell her off she never relents always wearing skimpy clothes

she's more than a pest I've tried everything but to no avail I do not want to go the extra mile cus I don't want any trouble with her family especially her father
