Alone But Not Always

Escape Plan

Knowing that they want me to become the breeder to future Alpha John, I have to move up my plans to run away. I have been making a list of what I will need for a while. (list: knife, clothes, bar of soap, blanket, toothbrush, hairbrush, can opener, and dry foods that can be kept outside.) When my parents are away I have been taking a little money here and there, so I have about 7 thousand saved. I keep everything in the whole I made in my closet.

Now I just have to find the best time to run. A time when my parents and the Alpha are away from the pack for a few days. No one checks to make sure I am home anymore. When I was younger, a maid would stay while they were away, then a maid would come by once a day to make sure everything was okay. Now I am left alone when they are gone. I know no one watches me when I leave for school or on the way home. That would be the best time for me to leave. For now, I just need to act normal.

I hate school but I have to go. My high school is for supernaturals, no humans. Like most schools, you have your clicks popular, jocks, nerds, and loners. Most of the loners are omegas, but I am also a loner. My father has drilled it into my head to stay quiet and out of the spotlight. He told me he would stop me from going to school if I didn't follow the rules. School is the only place I am allowed that is not home. Most of the popular girls make fun of me. They have nicknamed me mute, even though I talk when a teacher calls on me. I guess that is what happens when I can't talk to other people.

Walking into school, I try to stay to the sides of the halls, keeping my head down. When I get to my locker, there is the future Alpha standing in my way. I really don't want to see him and Nova is growling in my head. She hates him. The future Alpha John is just like his dad, and a playboy. I keep my head down waiting for him to move. But I'm not lucky he wants to talk.

John: Anna, my dad said I am to mate with you

Me: ....

John: I don't want you, but I have to be with you to become Alpha. I will mate with you, but not expect me to be faithful. I am not giving up anything for you.

Me: Can you not talk the Alpha out of this?

John: I tried, but I have to take you as my mate, like it or not.

John slams his hand on my locker, before storming off. He acts like I chose this. I just got my books and headed to my class. Walking in, half of the girls were looking at me like I should die. Keeping my head down, I made my way to the back of the glass to a seat. On the way, the most popular girl trips me. With my reflexes I caught myself. Before anyone could say anything, the teacher came in.

School sucked worse today with all the death looks and people shoving me into lockers. At lunch, I hid in the library because no one ever came in. By the end of the day, I was just ready for bed. Walking into my house, I could hear voices in the kitchen, heading to the kitchen to get water and see who was there. Didn't expect to see my mom, dad, or the Alpha. The Alpha looked me up and down before saying anything.

Alpha Jack: Anna, good to see you.

Me: Hi Alpha, nice to see you.

Alpha Jack: I was just telling your parents how I am matching you with my son John. Your parents and I have a meeting in another pack, so I want to do the ceremony when we get back next week.

Me: .....(looking down)

Dad: She is just shocked Alpha. Give her a little bit for the shock to wear off.

Alpha Jack: I understand, I will see you at the pack house in an hour.

The Alpha walks out of the house and my dad turns to me, slapping me across the face. I stood there shocked. My dad has never showed me love, but I didn't think he would hit me.

Dad: How could you be disrespectful to the Alpha like that?

Me: I don't want to be mated to Alpha John, I didn't know how to say that.

Dad: Oh, you will be mated with him, like it or not. This is not up for discussion. Now go to your room. You are not aloud to go anywhere until we get back.

Going to my room, I knew I had to escape sooner than I thought. Nova agreed with me, saying we should rest and leave tomorrow night after getting as much rest as possible. I headed to my bathroom to take a long bath to relax and shave. Not sure when I will have the chance once I run.
