He was a good man, and she found that she really enjoyed Tom’s company. Jess had hoped that she would be able to get in touch with him after their last dinner, but work had gotten in the way of that. She could feel the deadline looming. Three weeks wasn’t a lot of time for her special, especially considering she had little concrete footage and nothing more than ideas and raw info. Jess took another drink of coffee and stole a glance at the clock. It was nearly three in the morning, and she’d felt like she had made little headway for her special.
