Wayne noticed a body figure that looked exactly like Mara’s and followed her. The only thought in his mind was finding her at all cost. Pushing through the crowd, he hastened his footsteps and struggled to catch up to her. He was jogging but she still seemed far away. “Mara!” He called out, but she didn't look back. His phone was vibrating in his pocket but he ignored it. He was tempted to switch it off but he realised it would only waste more time.
“Mara!” He called out again, his voice urgent and needy as he desperately needed to see her. “Mara, please, wait!” He yelled as he pushed through the crowd, apologising to several people on the way.
