Confused
Last night I was watching the stars from my window, when I saw a shooting star falling from the sky. It crashed near my back wall. Being so curious, I ran out to see what had happened. To my surprise, it actually looked like a girl lying there. She must have been an angel from heaven. I hurried over to help her. Then she made eye contact and I felt as if my soul had been transported to another world. I fell to my knees. The entire area was shining with a golden light. I wasn’t sure what had just happened, but I could only open my eyes and see a beautiful lady with a smile on her cheeks. Her dress seemed to be made of pure gold and silver. I stood up from the bed. I was lying down and noticed the beauty of my surroundings. It seemed as if I was in heaven. The lady acted in a humble way, as if she were a maid to a princess. Then the lady asked me to choose among the jewels. “But I have no money with me,” I said, not sure of what was happening. “Please, my lady, the queen and her subject are waiting in the royal chamber. We must hurry — we are expecting a guest from the Southern Kingdom,” the lady said. “What?” I said in confusion as she placed one of the necklaces on me and brought the mirror closer. I was shocked at what I saw. “Oh, I must be dreaming,” I said to the lady. “You know, there was one time I had this dream that I was a bird. How ridiculous,” I said as I laughed loudly. I looked into the mirror again. I was in the body of the young girl I saw earlier. I laughed. "okay dira the dreaming is enough," I said as I slapped myself. "Wake up," I said as I slapped myself again. "Oh my God, my Lady, what are you doing?" the lady asked me in a scared way. "Please, don't call me that. I need to wake up. You are going too far," I said again, giving myself another hot slap. "Oh, please my lady, I will be punished for your rude attitude. Please stop it," the lady said, trying to stop me from hurting myself. Just then, a beautiful woman entered the room with some maiden "What are you doing?" the woman asked in embarrassment. "My Queen, the princess refuses to dress up," the lady said as the woman, who was referred to as the Queen, did something surprising. She just pointed at the cloth on the bed and moved it with magic. The cloth came onto me. "Yeah, this is definitely a dream," I said as I continued slapping myself, but it was not working. So I decided to end it all by killing myself. Because it worked a lot, to snap out of a dream, you should do something dangerous. I quickly ran out of the room and tried to jump from the height. But I was caught by a charming boy dressed in knight’s armor, with white hair and a pointed nose. He lifted me back to the room. I was forced by the Queen to put on a new outfit. After that, we moved to a big hall that looked like a royal chamber. The entire people in the hall were dressed in red. As soon as I entered the room, everyone bowed to me. I was not sure what was happening, but I had noticed that I am an important person. The Queen and I walked up some stairs. The Queen sat on her throne. Then some ladies came out from the door close to the Queen’s throne. They were all dressed in royal dresses, just like I was. I am sure they are the kingdom’s princesses. The princesses stood where I was standing. Some bells rang and the princesses began to dance in uniform. I was the only one that was standing. “What is this all about?” I asked myself as I looked at the Queen in a confused way. She told me to dance, but I wasn’t a very good dancer. I decided to follow the steps of the others. Just then, a big ring appeared at the front of us and a big beast came out. “What kind of dream is this?” I asked myself as I quickly ran down from the stairs to escape. But the dragon stopped me. It stood at the front of me immediately. I saw some part of my soul leaving my body. The real me was revealed. My soul merged with that of the dragon. Everyone was shocked to see my real form. “That is not the princess!” the Queen said in shock. The merging of the soul was complete. Suddenly, it entered my body and I transformed back into the princess. The ring vanished. I felt an overwhelming surge of power. “She is not the princess,” some of the people declared. “Guards, seize her!” the queen commanded as several men rushed toward me. “This is not a dream,” I whispered to myself. Desperate, I attempted to cast a spell. I had watched countless films where individuals wielded magic, so I tried one — and to my astonishment, it worked. It was as though I was being guided by the consciousness of my present body, for I had never learned the arcane arts. Yet with that single incantation, the entire chamber began to tremble. “She harbors the dragon core within her. She is more powerful than any of us,” one of the guards exclaimed as he fled from the chamber. I was searching for an escape when the queen soared out of the chamber on a tempest of wind. "Cease!" the queen commanded, her voice resonant with fury. "You are not my daughter, and I shall not permit you to usurp her vessel." She gestured imperiously, both hands cleaving the air, and from the heavens descended a legion of blades. They hurtled toward me, merciless and precise. Yet the body I now inhabited murmured an ancient incantation, contorting the trajectory of the steel until it reversed course, surging back toward its wielder. Before the swords could rend her, however, my own soul intervened—an act of will that arrested them mid-descent, suspending their lethal arc. "I have never extinguished a life," I declared as the weapons unraveled into mist, "nor shall I ever commit such an atrocity." In that instant, my corporeal form surrendered to a force beyond me, lifting me weightless until the sky itself claimed me.
