Wolf and Wizard

The family of Mathony was the bloodline of mages and wizards. The family is known for their magics in curses and enchantments. They were the ones who guided rulers or brought them to ruin if they wished. People called them the light in the dark or those who were the dark for the light. Finnis's bloodline, the wolf's blood, ruled the North's Lands—led by the blond-haired women whose blood came from the moon itself. They were warriors who valued honor and loyalty. They were called the protectors of all and were known to be true. They were also known as the blood wolves since they would take lands by force or marry into the rulers' bloodline. These two families were influential in their rights, and it was only a matter of time before they met. Freya, the eldest child of the matriarch, was the one who started talks with the king. Yet when they met, she was betrayed and slain by one of the wizard's blood. It happened in the tiny kingdom of Ellias, a domain known for its abundance of manga crystals.  This betrayal caused the fall of Ellias and the blood feud between the two families. This feud caused many to die, even those who were innocent. This bloodshed caused the high king to bring the heads of the family together and made them stop their war that was bringing death to others. The families told of their loss, but the king, wise beyond his years, told them this.  "I will grant the oldest daughter of my blood to the Mathony's and my 2nd son to the Finnis. This will replace the ones who have been lost and guarantee that your blood will have strong ties to the kingdom."  The two heads agreed, ending the fight for the next generation's sake. Hundreds of years pass, and new generations replace the old. The kingdom was divided into packs of wolves while wizards, vampires, and humans chose their lands. Yet even as the world changes, some reach for the past where their power was the greatest. They will rest at nothing to their power back, even at the cost of innocent lives.
