Jack’s POV
My whole world got upside down just in few seconds. I fell on my knees and tears filled my eyes making my vision blurry. I could hear my mom trying to console me. I could just hear some commotions around me but didn’t understand a single word of it. Someone forcefully got me up and took me to some room. Everyone tried to get me out of my trauma but my heart didn’t want to hear any of them. A war had begun between my mind and heart. My mind blamed my heart for Eva’s misery and my heart cried silently for Eva. I didn’t have any idea how long I sat in that room. I woke up when a small hand slapped on my shoulders.
“Daddy, please come out stop the fighting.” I looked at Jack as if seeing him for the first time. it took me few minutes to realize where I am.
