Jack’s POV
“Jack don’t you dare lie to me again. Just tell me the truth. What did Edward say? I saw him storming away and he was very angry too. Did you say something to him?” I stood speechless in front of mom.
“Jack, answer me or else I will go and ask Edward.” Mom again asked.
“Mom, he was just angry at me after knowing that I didn’t lie to Eva,” I said.
“What do you mean Jack? Didn’t you do as we discussed? Did something happen to Eva?” Mom asked in a worried voice.
“Mom, I could lie to her. Six years back, if we both did tell our real names to each other, things would have been different. We would be happily married and Jack would have both mummy and daddy. I didn’t want to lose her again because of another lie. Believe me mom; she was not at all upset after hearing everything.
