Lovely Pain

[James Petro POV] After getting off the phone with my new business partner, I sit down at my desk and stare at my ankle monitor. Just chuckling at Ms. Castro's failure to keep me behind bars, I may not be able to torment her in person but I sure can still get her from where I'm at. Not my problem her friend got involved with me and I fully intend to trip her up and let her see the real motives on her best friend's death. Staring at the picture of Jessie in my hands, I smile only if she had the same level of affection I had for her. She'll never see it that way, but if I can't have her then no one will. Hopefully my partner will keep up his end of the deal and we will all be fine. -------------[Jessie's POV]-------------- Mrs. Stevenson has been avoiding my calls, emails, and texts for the past 3 day since I've found the box. At this point I have a feeling that she might've blocked my number. I mean all things considered she might just hate me for not being able to keep her daughter safe. I get it, I failed but the man that hurt her is now behind bars, I don't give a single f**k in this world if he's rich, that's what he gets for murdering my best friend. He can rot in prison, just as long as he stays there. I'll reach out to her brother later and see if he'll answer anything, last I checked he was married and graduating medical school. Sighing and saying it out loud, "Okay I need to stop thinking about them, all I'm doing is making myself angry for no reason." I lay down and cry myself to sleep while recalling all the memories of me and Hannah's friendship.Sighing and saying it out loud, "Okay I need to stop thinking about them, all I'm doing is making myself angry for no reason." I lay down and cry myself to sleep while recalling all the memories of me and Hannah's friendship. **********Time Skip*********** Jerrod, Hannah's brother, didn't answer his phone. I'm not surprised honestly, he was very unaccountable in the past and it was almost impossible to reach him by phone. If you wanted to get to him you basically had to hunt him down, hopefully he listens to my voicemail and get back to me. I sighed, putting away my phone and decide to get my things ready for my first day of work tomorrow. I'm extremely nervous about it, but Dr. Hanson assured me that it will all be fine and that the other nurses are excited to meet a new nurse for the Emergency Department (ED). He mentioned also being excited to meet me as well.
