Sunday night, and the end of a weekend that had been disappointing all around. Zach hadn’t even made the quarter-final in Tahiti. And Alexa and I hadn’t found any definitive evidence against Baylee. She’d spent the whole of yesterday shopping, mostly for clothes, but she’d swung by the grocery store too.
