Chapter 51 As Denise and I cross the lawn, I can feel the stares of those left behind. “This seems very surreal,” I say. “Don’t worry,” Denise says. “I wanted to talk to you anyhow.” I know. I remember. Then, Mindy and Tara showed up and we never got to talk. Plus, I shot my mouth off and ruined everything. We enter the palace. She shuts the door firmly and heads toward the kitchen.
