The Playboy's Bride

Episode 4

Ethan understood that Sabrina had seen him with Norah. Norah was his first and also the last girl he was ever serious with. She was one of the reasons that he never got into serious relationship. He was from a broken family. His parents were in a compromised marriage till the day Ethan's mother passed away. Peter had remarried almost immediately as if he was waiting for Ethan's mother to die.  This had already shaken his faith in marriage and love. Still he fell for Norah but after she broke his heart all his belief disappeared. He had kept no contact with her after they broke up 4 years back. Today they ran into each other out of the blue and he was surprised to see her after a long. He actually didn't want to even talk to her but she said she was sorry for her mistake and she had never stopped loving him. Ethan liked her a lot in the past but the way she betrayed him and hurt him he didn't want anything much to do with her. She insisted on meeting him soon and catching up and left. 

Sabrina went inside and everyone at home gathered around her excited to know everything about what had happened throughout the day. Kiara got busy opening all the shopping bags and jumping in excitement.  Karla updated her on her father's condition that he was still under observation but after the operation he was quite stable. Karla realised that Sabrina wasn't speaking much, she asked her if something had happened. She went inside saying she was just tired  from the shopping and she would tell everything at dinner. She went directly to her bed. 

She couldn't understand why she was so mad after seeing the girl with Ethan. He could have as many girlfriends as he wanted. He was just her employer not her actual fiancee. Then why did he comment about Ken then. Both of them should control to be seen in public this way why only her. She drifted off to sleep amidst all her confused thoughts. After 2 hours her mother woke her up asking to join them for the dinner. She had her dinner with her family and told them about Ethan's family and her shopping. Her family seemed very happy to hear about all the details which gave her strength to be okay with the step she had taken. Her life had changed so drastically within a couple of days. As they were enjoying their family time she received  a call from Ben saying that she could come back to work after the wedding if she wanted as he was giving her leave for the wedding preparations. She didn't understand why she was getting leave even when she didn't ask for it. Ben explained Ethan already spoke regarding her leaves and he was glad to help and would see her after the wedding if she still wanted to work at La Praire now that she would be a Dyson. She said obviously she would join back as she loved working at La Praire . She was mad at Ethan about bossing her around and taking all the decisions without consulting her. This was her job, why didn't he discuss with her. She would have agreed anyways. He treated her like his property without even discussing with her he just made her take leave for a month from the job which she worked so hard for. She knew if she asked him why his reply will be the contract. Did she take a wrong step saying yes to this contract? Sabrina might never had much money but she had the freedom to make her own decisions. Right now she felt like a bird in a cage and she had no right to complain after all she chose this cage.

The following day, Ethan called her in the morning and asked her to be ready as they had many things lined up for the day . She got dressed up in one of the dresses they got the day before. The dress she wore today was pastel pink, it was a knee length body con dress which flattered her figure. She had never wore something which was body hugging, she then tied her hair up and put a little make up. She slipped into her stilettos and she was ready. Kiara came inside the room and screamed in excitement and said,"Wow sis, you look so beautiful . You should dress up more often. Look  at yourself, look at what you had been hiding behind your sweat shirts. My would be brother in law will crash and die if he sees you like this." Sabrina smiled and calmed her down. She went outside to have breakfast where everyone complimented her.

 While they were having breakfast Ethan had already reached . He rang the bell and Karla opened the door for  him. She  invited him inside to join them for breakfast. He came inside with gifts and boxes for Sabrina's family. He handed the gifts over to Chris and Kiara and greeted everyone at the table. As he walked towards the table he saw her sitting at the table and he was mesmerised by the beauty . He thought to himself she was almost unaware of how beautiful  she was and what impact she had on people around.  Instead she was looking down as usual . He smiled to himself and sat down at the table and had his breakfast while chatting with Sabrina's family. He informed Karla that the wedding preparation would be beginning from that day itself and that it will be arranged in the family house so not to worry about anything and invited them to a function the following day. Karla expressed her guilt that she couldn't do much for her  own daughter's wedding . Ethan said that they were now from the same family and it didn't matter who did what. He also thanked Karla by saying she had already done enough by having  Sabrina.  Everybody at the table clapped  and laughed. Sabrina didn't like this much as she felt knew that it will hurt her family more if they loved him so much. He was making it easy for them to fall in love with him too. He chose all the right words and actions with her family and this scared her for the future. After they had their breakfast, everyone chatted for a while and  then they left.  As they walked out of the house Ethan couldn't keep his eyes off her . He  tried to catch glimpses of her without her noticing. All he wanted to do was pull her close to him and kiss her but he tried to stay in control. His desires could destroy everything and for him this wedding had to go smoothly without any obstruction.

They had a hectic day meeting ahead meeting Ethan's grandparents and the wedding planner . His grandfather had  a lot of plans for their wedding. Sabrina noticed how excited he was about every little detail . He gave a layout of what he had in mind for the wedding and asked for Sabrina's inputs if she didn't like anything or wanted to add anything. Sabrina actually loved everything single that Rita and Ronaldo had in mind. Ethan kept trying to convince his grandfather that they didn't want such a huge wedding but his grandfather was even more adamant then Ethan.  Even Sabrina didn't want such a huge wedding with their families and close relatives but  Ronaldo was so excited. The wedding planner asked Sabrina  and Rita to join him so that he could explain her few of the executions of the ideas that he and Ronaldo had in mind.  She couldn't believe how extravagant her fake wedding was going to be.  Sabrina had a great time planning her fake wedding with the planner.  This was the first time she was getting pampered. Everything was planned for her the only thing she had to do was choose amongst the options given to her. Ethan's grandparents were very kind to her and asked her to invite her family the next day for a small family function. 

 The day passed had away quite quickly and Ethan noticed that his grandfather liked Sabrina and enjoyed talking to her. Everything was going according to his plan. All he wanted was his grandfather's happiness and his wedding was something that his grandfather had wished for a long time. 

They had a quiet and tensed ride back home. They didn't have much interaction throughout the day. Sabrina was mostly with the wedding planner discussing and approving ideas. As they reached Sabrina's house Ethan thanked her for the day.  As she was about to leave, he held her hand asking her to wait. He let go of her hand and told her that the girl she saw the other day was his ex girlfriend and he was not going to do anything to sabotage the contract at any cost. It was just a coincidence that they met and he didn't want her to have any doubts regarding this. 

Sabrina replied, "I had a great time with your grandparents today so you don't have to thank me. I am sorry about my reaction. It was uncalled for. I wouldn't sabotage anything and hurt anyone too. I am grateful for what you are doing for by father and family. So I will do my part of the contract and then we can be free from each other. It was wrong of me to ask about your private affairs as you are my employer. Who you date or meet should not be my concern."  

As she was saying these things Ethan kept staring at her . He felt that there was a little sadness in her  voice.  He found her nervously  tucking her hair behind her ears also irresistible.  She realised that Ethan was staring at her so she turned to look away. He tried so hard to control himself but  when she looked away suddenly Ethan didn't know what came over him.  He put his hands around her face and  pulled her face closer to his and pressed his lips against hers. He wanted to do this the entire day but he controlled himself.  But now all his effort went to waste, he kissed her like she was his and her lips belonged to him. He was hungry for her. He held her tightly as she tried to push him away.  He wanted her to want him too and soon enough she did. Her hand stopped protesting and her mouth welcomed his.

 She tried to push him away in the beginning but slowly her limbs went numb from the kiss. She leaned in and kissed him back. She had never experienced something so beautiful. Her mind kept protesting against it but her body  gave in. This was her first kiss, her first ever kiss.  Ethan was her first ever kiss.

 Chris suddenly came and knocked on the  car window. Both of them were knocked out of their state and realised what had happened. 

Sabrina looked embarrassed and hoped that her brother had not seen her kissing her fiancee's face like a crazy teenager . This was so unlike her. She had never done anything this crazy, she had hardly been on blind dates or even held hands with any guy but here she was kissing someone who didn't even like her. Right now she could even recognise herself and what she was doing.  Whenever she was with him she did things which she would never do. She picked up her bags without making any eye contact with Ethan and got out of the car. She went inside her house without saying anything. Chris had actually come to meet Ethan and hangout with him a bit and it seemed like he had not seen anything but both of them were glad that they could pull away because of Chris. This was not meant to happen, they didn't love each other nor were they dating. It was just a fake marriage of interest not a no strings attached physical commitment.
