There were dark bags under his eyes and the deep lines running from his nose to his chin made him seem more than usually demonic or perhaps it was because in the bright sunlight he seemed to have an unnatural pallor. “I am at your feet, Celesta!” he almost shouted and lifted her hand to his lips.
