The Return!
Their return was painless and joyous. When they reached the crystal-clear waters of Styx, the Cyclops and the Hekatoncheires looked at those strange waters in awe. At once, the Cyclops asked to take a bath. But Zeus made sure that they understood that the waters had been purified for a particular reason. Through those purified waters, the transference of the souls of the mortals going to the Underworld would occur. So, he asked them to show a little more patience up until they reached Lake Acheron. There, they could have their bath unobtrusively.
As they were up the corridor leading to the surface, they were all admiring the waters that were going to and fro between there and Lake Acheron. When they reached on top of the rocky islet at the center of the lake, the Cyclops shut
