It had almost been a dreadful six months since I had last seen Isabella. There were multiple times I wanted to give up my charade, but I never did. The last few days have been difficult. I sense her pain getting worse as the days went on. For nights on end, I would lose sleep over her. I was distracted by my every day-to-day routine; I couldn’t even think straight. It was not far-fetched to assume mom knew anything, so I quickly made my way to her home. I was outside of my mom’s house when I heard her mention her name. My ears perked up as I rushed inside.
