I knew they couldn’t possibly be the same person, but there was no mistaking it. Those lavender-tinged eyes were the same. The intensity that her orbs carried themselves with force, even with the tranquility that surrounded hers now. Even though I knew they were not the same, the doubts that I was not strong enough to protect those I loved began to return with full force. How had I not seen it before? After all, she was in my dreams. It was strange, even as the uncertainty crawled through my body, I began to feel a strong pull towards her.
I gawked at her in silence for what seemed like an eternity. I was stunned that she did the same. Even with the slew of mixed emotions rushing through me, I fought to restrain myself from rushing to her side.
