Kam woke up with the ring of her alarm. It was already 6 in the morning. It was the day that she’ll meet her new business partner. She was kind of excited. She was left with the family’s business. Her parents are now living in the states. She live alone in her own house, that she bought it with her own salary. The very first thing she thought, she would buy when she gets enough money. She have been saving it for 3 years. Finally she is living in it. Before she owned the hotel of her family, she worked in a well known hotel as the vice president. Sometimes its lonely living alone. She decided not to hire a maid since she was taught to do chores when she was a kid. So after she got from work she’ll cook for herself and sometimes wash her own clothes. She is a little bit save-as-much-as-you-can type. Then her father decided to pass the business to her. Today is the day where she’ll meet her business partner for the first time. She has to be presentable. After she took a bath, she ate a little and drank tea to calm her down. She’s anxious since she woke up. Got to have a calm nerve before the big meeting.

She arrived at work a little bit early. Everything went well, until it was already the time for her to meet her new business partner.

Mr. Alcaraz: Hello Kam! How are you?

Kam: Hi Tito John! It’s nice to see you here. I’m fine Tito. I guess you’re doing fine too.

Mr. Alcaraz: Yes dear. After I got the operation I sure do feel fine.

Kam: How was it? Are things getting better? I heard you found your long lost son. When can I meet him?

Mr. Alcaraz: Haven’t he told you..?

She gave him a questioning look. A knock in the door cut the silence. Helen appeared from the door.

Ms. Espejo: Ma’am, Sir, Mr. Alcaraz is now here, should I let him in?

Kam: Yes Helen, please do.

Helen disappeared and a man emerged just right after. A man whom her heart knew quite well.

Mr. Alcaraz: Here son. Come I don’t have to introduce you to her. You have known each other for quite a long time I guess.
