A woman who happened to pass by approached him.
Woman: Excuse me sir. I noticed you have been ringing the bell for quite sometime now. I dont think Kam is home if no one is answering.
Armand: She is with me. She is sleeping in my car.
Woman: Ok. So nobody's home then. She is living on her own sir. So no one will answer you from inside. Unless a spirit does.
She giggled a little.
Armand: Can you help me instead?
Woman: What is it?
Armand: Is it ok if you open the gate for me so I can carry her inside?
Woman: Oh ok. Ill hold the gate for you.
The woman waited for him while he scrambled Kam's bag. He is trying to look for the key. He saw Kam still asleep as she was 45 minutes ago.
Woman: Are you a friend of Kam?
He didnt answer her too busy trying to find the key. There are a lot of pouches and pockets inside her bag. He has to open them one by one. Until he found it just in the front pocket. What a waste of time scrambling her bag.
Woman: Are you her friend?
Armand: No! I'm her fiance.
Woman: Oh! But you're not the same man I saw before.
Armand: There is another man who visits her?
Woman: Oh there was a man last week who visited her. But I was not able to talk to him though. There was also another one last month.
What a b***h! She's alone in the house and she invites different men in. Is this a kind of wife I want? Armand thought.
He then opened the door and carried Kam in. He thanked the woman who wanted to say something else but he tried to keep his thoughts by himself. She left but still wondering what happened. When she got out of the gate, he tried to wake Kathryna up. She is now lying in her sofa. While he was in the kitchen finding himself something to drink, he took a glass and drunk the juice he found inside. Then went back to where he left her. But then she was not there, he was calling her. He went upstairs just to check where she is.
Kam: Kenji thank you for seeing me home. I was so tired. But how did you know that I’m still in the office?
She called out from the open room.
Kam: Ken this is the nth time that you helped me. I’m so thankful to have you.
Armand: Is Kenji your new lover?
Armand stormed in Kam's room with an accusing tone.
Kam: What are you doing here? How did you got inside? Where is Kenji?
Armand: Huh! You cant turn a blind eye on me now. I was the one who brought you home.
Kam: You what..?
Armand: I was the one who carried you home. Were you just prettending to be asleep?
Kam: Excuse me! I didn't even said to bring me home. Isnt it you who left me in front of the botique after accusing me of so many things?
Armand: All of it is true. I have heard you let other men in. Different men that is. So tell me if your not a b***h what are you then? Would w***e do the cut?
Kam is dishearted. She can not take more of this now. She is too tired to argue.
Kam: Well thank you for seeing me home. Now you can go home and call it a day. I can see you at the door. It’s polite of you that you see me home after you left me on purpose. Now you can go.
She walked ahead of him, but he stopped her before she could get to the door.
Armand: Not so fast lady. You can’t treat me like that. I carried you from the top floor of your office to the ground floor. Then carried you from my car to your living room and now you’re doing this?
Kam: What do you want me to do then Armand? I’m too tired of arguing with you. Can you spare me a little peace ?
She let out a sigh.
Armand: My dear Kathryna, you are the one who is making this complecated. If you just kept your peace and never asked you dad about marrying me. We wouldnt be here in the first place. You are the one who set this up. Today we are supposed to be picking your wedding gown. But you decline. What is going inside your brain? I can’t exactly figure it out.
Kam: Ok fine! Think whatever you want to. I'll call dad tonight and cancel this wedding. Happy now?
Armand: Did you meet a new man to marry? Is he richer than me?
Kam: I told you…
Kam is almost to a point of breaking down. She have been arguing with this man the entire day. It seems like the man she loved 11 years ago is gone. Where is that man whom she gave her heart to? The man she is still longing until now.
