Empress consorts (Book two and three of Rebirth me.)

Chapter 3: Trash can

The man that just entered had a black hair and a very pretty face, his smug face made him look like a pretty retard person.

Immediately he entered the courtroom his face gave out a glow that almost blinded the empress who was still trying yo figure out who the intruder is.

Emma turn to Lilly and whispered, "The hell is that, a newly invented lamp?" she used her hand to cover her face.

Lilly answered, "He is your brother."

According to the tradition of the kingdom of Mercia, no woman is allowed inside the courtroom, but ever since Emma became the Empress the rules changed.

She made a new rule allowing women to participate in any activity a man does, she also added under the new rule, 'What a man can do, a woman can do it better and so Perfect that a man will shed tears of embarrassment.'

This new rule caused a lot of commotion in the kingdom but no one dared to oppose.

Hearing that the man in front of her that was sparkling like a lamp is her younger adopted brother she sneered.

Her body owner killed her parents but never intended to harm her brother, she had tried loving him like a real sister could, but her younger brother was already corrupted by her parents into hating his sister.

She gave him a small land to govern as the owner, but he used his power to bully the weak and also exploit people of their riches.

He would always come inside the courtroom and command his sister who was the empress to do his biding, and she would also comply.

But what he doesn't know that the person sitting in front of him was not the empress who loved him, but another soul who doesn't give a f**k about anything or anybody but herself.

Phillip walked and stopped in front of the empress, he smiled and turned facing the council members "Hello everyone, its me again...."

"Prince Phillip, it is rude to face the empress and not bow."

An old man stated without blinking, he raised up his head and pointed at the prince, "You shouldn't have barged in like that too, you are just an orphan that doesn't know his place, try to know where you should belong."

Emma's eyes widened, she turned to Lilly, "Who the hell is he? he is so bold" Lilly looked down at the empress and replied without any emotion on her face.

"The old man pointing at Phillip is the Grand Duke's father (One of the empress consort.) he can be said to be your special advisor and doesn't tolerate the sight of his imperial highness prince..... Phillip."

Emma nodded, "Seems like you also don't like my brother very much."

"Yes."

The short reply made Emma to smile, she really need to make her personal maid to talk longer.

Phillip clenched his fist, he had always hated how he was not actually related to the empress but just an orphan, but he didn't flinch since his elder sister always punish those that speaks of his birth.

"You should really get punish old man." Phillip replied with a smile.

"Its a pity."

Knowing what the old man means, Phillip yelled, "Guards, take this foolish man to punish!" since his sister is taking so long to punish the old man, then he can do that for her.

The palace guards walk towards the old man, but they immediately stopped when they heard Emma's voice.

"Stop!"

"Get out."

Phillip smiled, "Didn't you hear her old man, get out of here."

The old man looked up at the empress and bowed, he turned to leave, "Not you." that two words made him to stop on his track.

Emma pointed her hand at her younger brother, "I'm talking to you, you son of a bitch..... get out."

The sentence came as a shock to Phillip, he doesn't understand..... his sister had always talked to him with love and respect, but right now she is looking at him like he is some kind of pest she wants to crush, and she also called him son of a.... what? he couldn't pronounce the word.

"Emma? what nonsense, how can you talk to your brother like that?"

"Death penalty."

Everyone in the Courtroom gasped.

The Empress issued a death penalty on the brother she was protective of, that was a big news, they can't wait to go home to share among their families.

"Wh.... what? how dare you? what nonsense are you spouting from your mouth, what did I do to deserve a death penalty? and even if I did something, I'm still your brother!" Phillip yelled.

Emma crossed her legs, "You barged into my palace, and call me by my name." she raised up her hands, looked at her nails and nodded, then she turned her head towards her younger brother's direction, "You insulted my father in-law...... so death Penalty."

The Grand Duke's father raised up his head and look at the empress, he was not expecting her to talk about him..... his chest suddenly feel warm.

The Empress forced his son into marrying her and had never respected or loved him, so the feeling of her trying to kill someone for him feels foreign.

The council members shook their head and they all bowed, "We implore the empress to forgive his imperial highness."

Phillip who was feeling his anger raising yelled, "I just barged inside your trash can that you call palace and you give me a death penalty?"

Emma raised her eyebrow, "If my palace is a trash can, then my council members are all trashes inside a trash can and I as their empress is also a trash inside a trash can?"

The council members eyes widened, the person they were trying to show justice go had just insulted them, together they all bowed and yelled, "Death penalty." they do not care about the fake prince anymore.

Emma smirked, her brother had been giving almost all her council members lots of bribe to speak for him inside the courtroom, but today she had turned them against him by just twisting his words.

The Grand Duke's father smiled, "I implore your majesty to forgive, a four months house arrest would be better than a death penalty."

Emma nodded, "Take him away." she commanded.

The palace guards grabbed Phillip hand and dragged him out of the courtroom while he kick and rain insult on the empress father in-law.

Emma stood up, "Court adjourned." she stood up and leave without looking back.

"Ahhhh, so exhausting." she turned to Lilly who was walking beside her, "Learn to smile Lilly."

Lilly turned to her, "No." Lilly turned and faced the palace guards that were following them, "Go." she instructed.

Knowing what she meant, they bowed and walk inside the empress chamber.

The empress opened her mouth to say something but stopped when she saw someone being bullied, she walked towards the direction of the event.

Upon reaching close, she noticed a dark skinned person laying on the floor.

"You became a consort that wasn't loved."

"Hahahah, although he became the first consort, he is still living like a peasant."

Emma eyes widened, "What the hell is going on?" immediately her voice was heard, five males in front of her turned and bowed, but they weren't scared of being seen bullying the consort since this was not the first time the empress had seen them.

Emma looked at her consort on the ground, her eyes immediately turned furious, "What the f**k did you guys do to my man?"

He sentence caused the smiling servants to stop smiling and start shuddering in fear, "Your imperial highness, we were just helping the consort up."

Emma walked towards the servants that just spoke, she raised her leg and stepped on his hand, "Royal consort, remember that."

"Take them away."

She walked towards Winston and bent down, "Come." she stood up together with him and dragged him to her room which had already been inspected by the palace guards.

She pushed him towards her bed, "Sit down, I will be back."

She walk towards one of the palace guards and commanded, "Bring them."

Her words were fully understood, the palace guard left and bought the servants that just bullied the royal consort.

Winston Anderton was one of the novel's male lead and an important character, any injury on his body means death.

Seeing the servants kneeling In front of her while trembling she smiled, "Now, repeat after me..... As long as I don't ask for death, I won't die in pain. Even villains needs to use their f*****g brain, even with a brain I still might die. Bullying the male lead is the dumbest thing to do!"

"Huh?"

The servants looked up at the empress and gulped, they can't remember everything she had just said, even the palace guards were confused.

Emma whispered to Lilly to bring a book for her to write down the words.

After writing it all down, she instructed three palace guards to stay and watch the servants reading the words out loud for three days.

She instructed Lilly to call out her consort in her room and every servants in the courtroom.

The rules needs to be changed again.
