(Andy) As we moved closer to the Archivio gate, our convoy began tooting their horns in excitement and I couldn't help the smile on my own face. I had never been this far out before and had only ever heard stories of the place. Yann’s eyes were wide with excitement, trying to take in every detail he could as he sat forward in his seat. The Archivio entrance was built into a magnificent red mountain range that expanded as far as the eye could see with the tiniest splash of white on the peaks. The Plains to the left and right of us housed dry, wild grass with an odd small bush here and there. This was quite the advantage for them as they could easily see an incoming attack from every direction. The nearest forest was a couple of miles to the left and the right side curved around a corner,
