The Forgotten Luna

Elizabeth's POV     " Daddy wake up" I whispered shaking my dad awake.      "Huh?, what happened sweetie?" he replied as she shook the sleep off his face. Yet again my father was falling asleep on the couch instead of his room, ever since mom died he hasn't slept much in his room. I'm sure the memory of her brings him more pain than good. Ever since mom died I feel like a great part of him died too. " Aren't you going to be late for school?"     "Yes, but I'm leaving now! Go shower and head to work before you're late too, I love you dad" I said grabbing my car keys from the table.         "Okay honey thank you, here for lunch" He said giving me a twenty dollar bill. I smiled and waved, leaving the house. I was running so late I was sure I was going to get detention.      "Well well well, look who we have here, Ms. Elizabeth Brown late yet again." I sighed and rolled my eyes, putting on my best sarcastic smile,     "Hi Mrs. Siegal, sorry I'm late, I uh couldn't find my keys." I said making my way to the empty chair next to Kate.        "Not so fast! Don't think I'm going to let you sit with your little friend, so you can talk all day with her, sit next to Mr. Antonio Torres, he's new along with some of the classmates, maybe you could be useful and show him how everything works around here." I sighed and yet again rolled my eyes turning my body around to walk across the room. That's when I saw him Antonio Torres, light complexion, brown eyes, and dark hair. He was breath taking, but yet he was going to be the next pain in my ass.      I sat next to him slamming my books on the table. Bringing out my phone.  Kate: You lucky b***h! You got to sit with the new hottie ;) Me:  Haha very funny, he's cute and all but you know Tyler is the one for me Kate: Come on he's old news! And he treats you like s**t. You need a real man!  And that Tony guy looks delicious and he's practically drooling over you! Me: Haha very funny, and no he's not. Although this Antonio guy is pretty good looking.      I smiled mischievously at Kate and that's when I felt Antonio tap my shoulder feeling a little shock with his touch. I gasped at the sudden feeling looking right at him.      "So are you going to help me out with this project or are you and your friend going to keep talking about me?" Said Antonio smirking with a seductive smile across his face. I felt my face redden as I turned to him smirking.     "Stalk much?"     "Not really. I mean your friend keeps looking this way, and from that blush on your face you just proved my theory that you two were talking about me". I couldn't help but laugh out loud at his bluntness.      "You're funny, cute even. But don't flatter yourself." I said rolling my eyes at him as I took the worksheet off his hands.        "Okay, fine... so you're my partner for this project. Don't tell me you're going to make me do all the work"     "Ha you're funny! You're looking at a future doctor here! So no, I know I got the looks and everything but I actually do all of my school work, besides we graduate here in three months I am not ruining it." I smiled as we started picking the subject of our project. We decided on werewolves.      After that, class was a blur Antonio was really funny and flirty. If I'm being honest he was one of the easiest people to talk to in this hell hole. There was something about him that just made me sure we'd be great friends. I met Kate near my locker where she spilled over the new student who had just transferred which I thought was obscured since school was almost over.     " Did you see that kid Matt? he's so cute! I don't think he noticed me, but if I have anything to do with it. I'm going to climb him like a tree. He's even more delicious than that Tony kid"  I laughed and shook my head. Kate was always crushing on so many guys, and they all ended up breaking her heart." Oh no, uh Liz twelve o clock" she whispered looking worried. As I turned I scoffed and shook my head as I saw Tyler with a slutty little b***h on the hood of his car. As I made my way to Tyler I could clearly see Valerie scoff .     "Babe, what are you doing?" I asked through greeted teeth, obliviously showing how annoyed I was. Valerie was the slut that was always trying to get at my boyfriend, she's even tried to kiss him and he doesn't seem to understand that I don't like him hanging out with her for obvious reasons.      "Hi babe, Uh me and the boys were just going to go to Val's for a minute, you know for our uh, to study!" I scoffed and rolled my eyes.     "Really now?"     "Ugh I don't understand why that b***h always has a say, it's obvious he's gonna leave her soon" said Valerie spitting her venom. I waited for Tyler to defend me but he didn't. He just stayed quiet as she talked s**t to me. I looked at her and laughed.      "b***h no one is talking to you, I would shut up before I rip your eyes out" I said as I made my way to her to beat her ass but Tyler stopped me getting in between us both.     "Babe come on don't talk to her like that, you know she's just kidding. Right Val?" I couldn't help but laugh and shake my head. I felt hurt and embarrassed at the fact that he let her talk to me in that way when I was his girlfriend.      "You're f*****g defending her?! Are you kidding me?" I yelled in his face, red with anger. "Go f**k your little w***e than" I screamed.     "What the f**k is your problem?! Don't talk to me like that- " Before he could say anything else I slapped him without thinking. This made him reek of anger. Tyler forcefully grabbed my arm yanking me away screaming at me.      "Ouch Ty you're hurting me" I screamed at him and next thing I knew someone had pushed Tyler off of me.     "Hey asshole don't touch her like that." Said Antonio as he came to my aid. "Are you okay?" he asked looking at me. I couldn't speak, all I could do was just stare at him and nod. I was mesmerized by him.     "Don't tell me what I can and can't do, mind your own business"     "Who are you to be putting your hands on her?" Antonio said eyeing Tyler as if he was nothing.      "I'm her boyfriend" Tyler said, as I looked at Antonio I could've sworn his eyes darkened as Tyler said those words, as if Tyler being my boyfriend upset him somehow. I could have even sworn I heard a growl like noise escape Antonio but it was very low I'm sure I just imagined it.      "Again, who the hell are you to put your hands on her? You don't ever touch her like that again, not on my watch."      "Trust me man you don't want to go there with me" Tyler spat.     "And if I do? What are you going do? Come on Liz you're coming with me."     "Like hell she is. She is MY girlfriend." I finally found my voice and looked at Tyler.      "Stop it both of you! Tyler go have fun with Valerie doing your homework or whatever you have to do. I have a project I need to do here with Tony. So I'll be going with him" I said and smiled at Tony and I pulled him away. I left before Tyler could say anything. Tony led me to his brand new Chevy Tahoe opening the door for me. I smiled at him and got in. He was such a gentlemen.     " Is that guy always such an asshole? Please tell me he was kidding about the boyfriend thing." I smiled and sighed.     "Thank you, you're very sweet for saving me back there, you saved me from kicking his ass. But sadly he is my boyfriend." I sighed once more resting my head against the seat. "So um, do you maybe want to go get started on that project?" I said as I rested my hand on the middle accidentally touching his, and yet again I felt a little shock and tingle on the spot where our skin made contact. I looked at him to find him staring back at me with different emotions across his face.
