The Forgotten Luna

Chapter Eleven

Liz's POV

    After getting home my dad couldn't stop thanking Tony and his family. We told them that it was some random homeless people asking for money that had taken me. Which I still didn't know why they had taken me. I said I was tired and that I needed some sleep. It was almost five AM by the time everyone left. Dad told me it was okay if I didn't go to school today.     

    I showered and changed into comfortable clothes. As I went to sleep I right away fell into a dream.

    " Liz shh they're going to catch us" a much younger Tony whispered to a younger version of myself. I giggled as we ran through the secret passage of my home. 

    " Than don't hug me like that, you know I'm ticklish" I replied. Once we made it to the secret chamber he pulled me close and kissed me softly.  I smiled into the kiss and pulled back. 

    " I can't wait for us both to be sixteen and be mated. Than you'll be my Luna and be with me forever." He whispered as he grabbed my face and kissed me once more. 

    I woke up from the weird dream and I tried going to sleep but I kept flipping and turning. I couldn't stop thinking about Tony. He risked his life for me. Without a question. But him and his whole friends and Kate they all kept me in the dark of who they truly were. I sighed frustrated. How was I so stupid that I couldn't see? I mean I have never believed in fairytales, at least not since my mom died. 

    As insane as it was, I wasn't scared or shocked. I don't know why all I could think about was Tony and how he never hurt me, he was always there. He protected me. I couldn't be without him. I made a great mistake telling him to give me space. I didn't need space, I needed him. I looked at the clock and saw that it was seven AM. I got up and grabbed my purse and keys. My dad was shockingly awake.

    "Hey dad, um is it okay if maybe I go with Tony? I just wanted to thank him for saving me and maybe buy him breakfast?" I asked.

    "Yes of course pumpkin I think it's a great idea. They saved you and who knows what I would have done if they hadn't. Let me take you" He offered, I smiled and shook my head.

    "It's okay dad I'll drive. I'll put on my tracker on my phone so you can see where I'm at" He nodded. I grabbed my keys and went to my car. Maybe he was at school? I went to the parking lot and his car wasn't there. I groaned and wondered if he was home. I would text him, but I wanted to talk to him in person. I made it to his house and knocked on the door. Nikki answered.

    "Hey Liz, how are you feeling?" She asked keeping her distance. I shrugged.

    "Okay? A little soar but mostly terrible for pushing Tony away when we saved me" I said

    "Hey don't blame yourself, you saw a lot in one day. I mean we weren't planning on telling you for a few more months maybe years." She teased, I smiled.

    " Is Tony here?" I asked.  

    "Yeah he's out back, if you want to go he's in training. Careful it's not a pretty sight." I nodded and walked inside making my way to his backyard. I gasped still not used to seeing werewolves. Tony's dad shifted mid air throwing himself at Tony. Tony though didn't even flinch he fought his father with ease without even shifting. I raised an eyebrow. How strong was he really? His dad did manage to bite him in a few places drawing blood. I couldn't see him get hurt I turned away. I mean his dad wouldn't really hurt him would he? I sighed and made myself look and walk a little closer. I seemed to distract Tony as he looked my way getting tackled by his dad. 

    After their little fight, Tony ran to me. I looked at him up and down, he was sweaty and bloody. I gulped.

    "You'll heal right?" I asked frowning touching one of his wounds. He seemed to tense up once I touched him.

    "Yes, I'll be back to normal in no less than five minutes" He said. I nodded and looked up at him. " Aren't you scared of seeing all this?" He asked. I shook my head.

    "No? Yes? I'm not as shocked as I was last night. Can we talk?" I asked. He nodded and grabbed my hand as he lead us to his room. Once inside I hugged him. "I'm sorry" I said.

    "It's okay, I'm not mad" I sighed and looked up at him.

    " But I was so rude. You saved my life and I turned you away. I feel terrible because I want nothing more than to be with you. I don't know what it is. But I'm tired of hiding it. I want to be with you." I confessed. Tony smiled and kissed me passionately. Before we could continue I pulled away. 

    "But I want answers, I want to know everything. I want to know who you are, what you do, and why me? A simple human. Why take interest in me"  I asked. Worried maybe I wouldn't like the answer. 

   "Okay, I'll answer your every question." I nodded.

    "So our project, I'm guessing everything you made me research was fake?" I asked he chuckled and nodded.   

    "Yeah most of it is a myth. Well for starters my family definitely doesn't work for the government, some of my pack and I came here together, the rest is back home. After my dad resigns I'm supposed to take charge and be the next alpha which makes me the leader? My second in command will be Matt. Also, we can shift whenever we want. We start to slowly get some more enhanced things when we turn thirteen but we don't fully shift until we're sixteen. As for money, my parents own a big part of land full of oil which is how we have money. We own companies all over as well. Ever since I got into high school I started studying business as well so I can carry on the family business.

    You see we have one of the biggest packs in the world. This was due to taking in some rouge people or people who lost their leader. Like Matt's pack something happened three years ago, their alpha was murdered by an attack and they didn't have anyone or anything, not even a beta. Just money, but money doesn't mean much without having a true pack. My dad took them in and we took care of them. Now the cheesiest part of it all. Once you're sixteen you can fully shift as well and you meet your mate, or love of your life in a sense. Every wolf gets one mate. Some take longer than others. But future alphas find theirs right away." When I heard this I frowned. I couldn't watch Tony with with anyone. I couldn't do this. I couldn't compete with his mate, than I gasped.

    "Kate and Matt" Tony smiled and nodded.

    "Yes that why they were so weird when the first met. You see when you meet this person, your other half you're instantly in love you find them perfect and you want nothing but the best for them. Someone that's going to be an alpha can not take charge until he has a Luna who is the female alpha. I was dating Hannah when before I turned sixteen and I thought maybe it'd be her. Once I turned sixteen, It wasn't her. I waited a few months and nothing. I waited more and I was already about to be eighteen and still I hadn't found her."

    "So you don't have one?" I asked. He shook his head.

    "You see we only get mates who are the same species as us,  werewolves. Nothing more." I don't know why but I felt my heart break with this information knowing I was human.

    "But we hired a witch to read my future and she said I would meet my mate. But that she was far away and that she'd be hard to find. That's why we moved so suddenly. I met with every pack in your town" He chuckled. "Even with Kate's pack, she's the daughter of an alpha so they introduced us, she laughed in my face" 

    "Oh of course she would. Your not her type" I said. than frowned. "Than why did she try to get me to like you?" He looked at me and smiled.

    " Because I decided to stay and look for my mate, and the minute I laid eye on you. I knew"

    "Knew what?" I asked confused. 

    "That you are my mate" my eyes widened as I looked at him.

    "How? I'm human." I said. I couldn't believe it. I thought the love of your life was someone you grew to love and than married. Not someone that is handed to you so easily. But that could explain why I was always to attracted to Tony. He shook his head.

    "I don't know. All I know is that you are. That's why I had pain that time you went with Tyler. When your mate is with someone else you feel it as pain. You didn't know so I can't blame you. That is also why being away from each other feels wrong. That's why every time we touch we feel sparks and tingles." He said. I didn't know what to think or say. All I could do was hug him feeling those sparks he talked about. 

    "That's a lot to take in" I confessed. " I'm not sure how it all works but I can try and learn" I said. He smiled wide.    

    "Thank you for understanding. We can take it slow on the whole werewolves stuff, I seriously thought you wouldn't ever want to see me again" I frowned and shook my head. 

    " Well, at least I got my hot Jacob Twilight werewolf" I said as Tony laughed. I yawed and laid my head against him. 

    "You haven't slept have you?" He asked concerned. I shook my head.

    "I couldn't, I missed you too much and needed to be at your side." I said. He smiled and picked me up setting me on his bed. He laid down next to me.

    "Let's get some sleep, I'm sure my dad wont mind if I miss one day or training" He said. 

    "I always knew Kate smelled like wet dog when it rained." I said. Tony laughed out loud.

    " That can happen sometimes" I smiled and turned to him cuddling in close as he wrapped his arms around me. 

    "You smell like a wet dog right now" I said jokingly. He chuckled.

    "You're right and I'm full of sweat and blood. Let me go shower" I frowned and shook my head.

    "No can't you stay with me? I need you." I said sleepily.

    "I'll just be five minutes, I promise." He said and kissed my forehead I nodded. As I waited to him. Before I knew it he was in bed next to me. I cuddled up next to him, He made me feel so safe and at home. I've never felt this way about anyone before. He smiled and played with my hair as he looked at me. I felt myself blush.

    "What?" I asked.

    "Nothing, I just can't get enough of you. Liz, you are perfect to me." I got red as a tomato, I hid my face. He chuckled and made me look at him before he kissed me. He started gently, as if he was scared to break me. I smirked and bit his lip, he groaned and started kissing me more hungrily. I smiled and matched his pace. His tongue entered my mouth, a moan escaped from me. I don't know why but his sweet kisses were driving me crazy, I needed more and I could tell that so did he. He pulled me closer to him as he got on top of me. I ran my hands through his hair. I could feel his growing erection. I moaned louder when I felt his member through his sweats grinding up against my already wet core. I made my way from his lips to his jaw all the way to his neck. He groaned in pleasure as I started sucking on his soft skin. 

    "Liz, baby you got to stop." He said out of breath. " If you continue I wont be able to stop. I don't want our first time to be like this. I want it to be special, you deserve more." He said. I smiled and nodded.    

    "I'm sorry, you're just kind of irresistible." I said. He smiled and looked at me.     

    "I want you to be mine Elizabeth" He said to me. 

    "I want you to be mine too, because I am yours." I said to him. He smiled and nodded. He kissed me and wrapped his arms around me.

    "Let's go to sleep, we've been up all night." He said. I nodded and felt right asleep in his arms.

    I woke up when I heard someone open the door. It was that b***h Hannah. I glared at her.    

    "To-" She looked at me surprised. As if she didn't expect me here in Tony's room. " I'm sorry, I should have knocked, um I was just coming to see if you were leading training today" She asked. I smirked as I could see right through her lies.

    "Yes you should have knocked. No tell the alpha that I will be absent today, I'll be spending the day with Liz" He said dismissing her. I rolled my eyes.

    "I don't like her." I said, I looked at my phone and saw it that was almost two in the afternoon. "s**t I didn't text my dad." I said, 

    "Don't worry I did. I let him know you were with me nice and safe." I raised an eyebrow at him. 

    "You and my dad text?" I said. 

    "Of course, he really trusts me now after last night." He said. I smiled and nodded.    

    "I did notice that."

    "Liz before I forget, how did you manage to fight off two wolves? Yes them being rouges makes them weaker but you know how to fight." I smiled and shrugged.

    "They beat me up pretty good, but with my big fat mouth I managed to piss one off as he went to hit me, I managed to get them close and strike them. Also my dad made me tale self defense classes as well as some karate and Kung Fu, I'm also a black belt" I said. 

    "So you can kick my ass?" He asked as I laughed.

    "Mmhm yeah totally because a 115 pound girl can take down a guy who can fight off a giant wolf." He chuckled and pulled me closer to him.

    "So spring break is coming and I was wondering if you'd like to take a trip? I want you to meet my family, see my home. See where I come from. I already asked your dad if it was okay and he agreed." I was shocked that he wanted me to meet his whole pack. I smiled at him and nodded.

    "I would love too" I said. I don't know why but going felt like the right thing to do. Like Tony's and I's relationship will grow with the trip.
